"Oh look! It seems no one is in here yet." Ichinose laughed slightly before looking around the room, and finding her assigned seat. Once she found it, she looked at the people beside her and smiled, "Ayanokouji-kun! You're next to me, what a coincidence!" She said excitedly, showing me the name tag beside her desk.

It truly is a coincidence, perhaps the gods are on my side?

"That's good news," I hummed, setting my bag underneath my desk and then proceeding to sit down. My seat was that of a main protagonist in a series: The back corner, next to the window. To me, this was the best possible seat I could ask for, it allows me to admire the surroundings.

"Yeah it is, I'm lucky to have such an amazing friend sitting beside me!" She smiled.

A friend? It's that simple to make a friend huh...

A few more people began to enter the room and Ichinose instantly got up to introduce herself and began to engage in conversations about things I didn't particularly understand. Once the majority of the class was in the room, a teacher stumbled into the classroom.

"Yosh!! Find your seats~." She said. To be honest, she didn't particularly look like a teacher, but instead a high school student. She had golden brown hair and extremely pretty eyes but to think that she is a teacher? I wouldn't expect it at first glance.

Everyone had sat down and the teacher clapped her hands together, smiling profusely, "Good morning everyone~. I'm Hoshinomiya Chie, I'll be in charge of you for the next three years so I hope to get to know all of you!" When she said that, she looked directly at me, practically ripping through my soul, "The entrance ceremony will be in an hour, but I'll still distribute the list of special rules of this school and the matriculation guide." She said, placing a small pile on each of the desks at the front so they could be passed behind.

I knew the school rules from the back of my head, so nothing was new to me, but knowing people my age, I'm sure they'll be shocked at the money part.

At this school, all students are required to live on campus and are forbidden from contacting anyone outside of school, including family. Of course, leaving school grounds is also forbidden.

To make up for this, there are other facilities on campus so that students don't suffer from being restricted. There are karaoke places, cinemas, cafes, and plenty of other places - you could say it's like a small town.

"I'll now hand out your student ID cards. With this, you can buy anything from any of the shops on campus," She explained, "It works like a normal credit card. There is nothing you can't buy at school. If it's on school grounds, it's purchasable."

I'll have to check out that fact in the future.

"The points are credited on the first of every month. Everyone should have 100,000 points already in their account. Before I forget, 1 yen equals 1 point, be sure to spend your points wisely~."

The classroom instantly got loud.

100,000 yen was a considerable amount of money to give to a teenager in high school as a monthly allowance.

"Surprised? You managed to get into this school, so you've been allocated what we think you are worth. Don't bother saving up either, the points given can only be used in school, and exchanging them when you leave will be impossible. The way your points are used is up to you. You can always transfer them to someone else if you don't feel like you need them. However, bullying other people for points is completely prohibited. The school is very concerned in matters like these." She said and then looked around the room, "Any questions?" Her line of sight fell to me when asking that question.
