It's the first weekend of May and to be completely honest, I have nothing to do. At first, I was contemplating asking Ichinose if she wanted to do something with me but that idea shut down when I realized that she had many more friends than I that she'd probably rather spend her weekend with.Everyone in our class began paying much more attention to the teaching. Despite us having a solid academical type, the fact we could gain more points for doing well or lose a large number for having someone expelled had everyone studying like crazy. Of course, it was unnecessary for me.
I lay in my bed, staring at the ceiling in utter silence.
"This is my masterpiece."
Stood in my underwear while people examined my body.
"He's well-built, trained in every martial art you could name, and follows orders no matter what it is. He's the perfect tool."
Nothing more than a simple tool for him to use at his dispense.
The color white has remained etched into my brain, looking at the white ceiling always brings upon memories and memories of that place.
My trance was knocked out of me as I heard the basic ringtone coming from the phone beside me. I looked at the caller ID and answered.
"Yo."
"Hiya~, Are you in your dorm Ayanokouji-kun?"
"Yep."
"I was thinking that I could teach you how to cook today since it's a Saturday?"
"Sure, I don't mind. But prepare yourself to spit out my food."
Joking was something that I had acquired through my everyday life. A year ago I wouldn't have even dared.
"I doubt it could be that bad, haha, I'll be there in 20 minutes!"
"See you then."
After setting up the necessary equipment, I waited patiently for the knock to arrive at my door. Not too soon after, it did.
I twisted the handle and was greeted by an overly excited Ichinose.
"Yo."
"Hiya~, can I come in?" She asked. I nodded and stepped to the side, watching her take off her shoes and place them neatly beside mine.
She was wearing a light/baby pink skirt that wasn't too long but not too short either with a white short-sleeved top. In other words, she was showing a lot of skin and I couldn't help but look.
She raised her eyebrow at me, "Checking me out are we?" She teasingly asked, leaning forward. I averted my eyes from her watermelons and cleared my throat.
"Nope. You're not cute at all." I responded. She looked extremely offended and placed her hand on her chest.
I noticed that she actually had been hurt by my words so I patted her head which caused her face to beam bright red, "I'm joking, if anything, you're pretty irresistible," I leaned into her ear, "It's taking everything in me to not pounce on you." I nibbled gently on her ear causing her breathing to stop momentarily.
Payback at its finest. I saw her knees begin to give out and caught her in my arms just in time,
"Careful there, but it seems like you enjoy being in my arms, do you like me Ichinose?" The continuous teasing caused her to crumble literally.
"I'll stop now."
Perhaps I enjoy her company a lot. I don't feel much when I'm around others but with her it's different. I suppose I have fun.
But not the type of fun where I spend a bunch of money fun but genuine fun.
It took a few moments for her to correct and mentally fix herself before clapping her hands together.
"Do you know the basics?" She asked.
I shook my head, "Nope. I've never cooked anything."
That was true, in my time in the white room, we were given food fit for our bodies but cooking? That was never in our curriculum.
And obviously, since coming out of the white room, I've been rich. When one is rich, why should they cook when people can cook for them?
The most I've 'cooked' is pot noodles.
"Eh? Nothing at all?" She asked.
"Nope. Nothing at all. You better be a good teacher Ichinose."
"I would say I am." She confidently put on an apron she brought with her and a large smile appeared on her face.
I followed suit and also put on an apron that she had given me.
"Let's take a picture Ayanokouji-kun!" I couldn't disagree but I do know that if this picture was posted anywhere, it'd cause me a lot of trouble.
She moved closer and leaned against me, her chest pressing onto my arm. She done a peace sign with her hands so I did the same.
Realistically speaking, this is the first picture I've ever taken with someone.
Once the picture was taken, she looked at it and a warm smile appeared on her face, after a moment, I heard a small buzz and ding come from my pocket so I checked what it was. Sure enough, it was the photo we had just taken. I saved it to my phone and we began cooking.
"This is something basic.." She trailed off into 'how to cook an egg' but I blindly just stared at her face, not taking anything in.
She waved her hand in front of me and placed her other on her hip, "Are you listening?" She asked, I brought myself back to reality and nodded,
"Of course I am."

Time went by as she taught me the fundamentals for cooking, "Should we make a cake?" She asked.
"If you want to."
She took out the necessary equipment and ingredients and placed them on a counter.
"Pass me the flour." Just as I was about to hand it to her, it slipped out of my hand and down her apron.
She looked a tad bit annoyed as she went to pick it up. Whilst Ichinose was adding it to the bowl, she 'accidentally' grabbed a handful of flour and threw it at me.
"Two can play that game." She smirked.
I grabbed the second pack of flour beside me and chucked it at her, trying to avoid her eyes. She gasped at my actions,
"You said it. Two can play that game right?"
This caused the war of flour to happen in my kitchen. Obviously, there was flour everywhere. I mean, EVERYWHERE.
Unbeknownst to us, our friends had entered my dorm because they all had a key for some reason. Without my permission, by the way.
"Eep! I ran out of flour Ayanokouji-kun!" Ichinose said loudly, laughing and trying to avoid me by running away to the other side of the kitchen.
"Too bad for you." I replied, chasing her and throwing the rest of my flour on her.
"What the-."
"I was not expecting this.."
Both Ichinose and I's head darted towards the doorway to the kitchen and there they were. Amikura and Shibata. Kanzaki was no where to be seen.
"Honami-Chan!!!! You didn't tell me you and Ayanokouji-kun were dating?!" Amikura broke the silence, running towards Ichinose but refusing to touch her since she was 'drenched' in flour.
Ichinose's face went bright red, "We aren't! I was just teaching him how to cook but we... got a little side-tracked..." She said, looking around the flour-filled kitchen.
"My ship is going to sail.." Amikura muttered, earning a small, gentle smack on the back of her head by Ichinose.
"I guess we better go so you guys can clear up, we'll hang out another time." Shibata said, grabbing Amikura by the wrist and yanking her away from Ichinose.
"You better give me all the deets Honami-chan!!"
