Chapter 5: A Nosy Human

"Who are they?" Isabella asked as she noticed movement on the other side of the windows.

Angela and Jessica looked where Isabella was looking before Angela spoke.

"The Cullens," Angela said.  "They moved down here from Alaska like two years ago."

"The blonde girl, that's Rosalie Hale," Jessica said as Rosalie entered, "She's a real bitch."

Next walked a thin girl with black hair cut pixy-like.

"The short girl, that's Alice.  She's really weird," Jessica said, as Alice walked by them.

As Alice reaches Rose, Rose wrapped her arm around the smaller girl in a loving and protective manner.

"Also Rose and Alice are together," Jessica added, "Like together together."

"Jess, they aren't related," Angela said, defending the Cullens.

"Yeah, but it's still weird."

"Who are they," Isabella asked as four boys and one girl walked in.

"Three of the guys are part of the Cullen family. The big guy is Emmett Cullen, the blonde who looks to be in pain is Jasper Hale, and the bronze hair guy is Edward Cullen. All super hot but no one at this school is good enough for them," Jessica said, "Like I care."

"The girl is Salem Stackhouse, she just moved here from Louisiana," Angela said.

"Who's the guy in the white shirt?" Bella asked as she continued to stare at the five mates.

Both Angela and Jessica looked at one another with slight fear on their faces before Angela spoke.

"You know about the vampires that came out of the coffin a little over two years ago," she asked.

Isabella nodded.  It was big news when they came out of the coffin and even bigger news when some of them were even spotted walking around in the daylight.  Rumors started to spread that they were a different bread of vampire but when in reality those who were able to walk around in the daylight possessed pieces of jewelry that allowed them to do so.

"Well, that's Godric and he's one of those vampires and he's extremely old despite looking seventeen," Jessica said. 

"It's said that he's over two thousand years old," Jessica said in a low voice.  "Anyway, Salem isn't just his human but also his girlfriend. It's rumored that the girl is dating not just Godric but Emmett, Edward, and Jasper too.  And it's said that she still has a boyfriend back in Louisiana who's Godric's prodigy."

Isabella turned around and stared at Salem and her mates. Feeling eyes on them the Cullens, Godric, and Salem turned to see Isabella watching them. Edward looked at the other new girl in confusion before he turned back to his family and mate.

"I can't read her mind," he said.

"Really," Salem asked as she looked back at Isabella and was able to hear her thoughts. "I can hear them."

The Cullens looked at the blonde telepath in front of them, shocked to find out she was also able to read minds.

"What is she thinking, darling," Jasper asked as they looked at the plane brunette.

"She's curious as to why only Godric and I are eating and that I'm a whore because I'm with the four of you."

This caused all four male vampires to growl at this. Godric went to stand up but Salem grabbed his arm and pulled him back down into his seat, before leaning forward and kissing him. Godric pulled Salem from Jasper's lap where she was sitting onto his own as he deepened the kiss. Isabella turned around at seeing them kiss only to have Angela and Jessica glare at her.
