Hiding in Plain Sight (Vigilante Deku)

Everyone is just soo...

It took me a bit to get the box down but once it was done, I looked at what I created. I've been here for a couple of years after all and I do get easily bored so I quickly and I did ask Nezu if I could do something. Power Loader even comes around sometimes and tought me some cool stuff. I just decided to ask Nezu for materials to do what I've been taught whenever I couldn't sleep. Now I got a nice costume and it was fitting me really well. Sewing was no problems, you kinda do learn this when living on the streets and fending for yourself.

All in all I got a costume which shouldn't give me away and a mask which I 3D printed. Of course I got a 3D printer at home cause Nezu is my father. I just had to ask and got it.

Me: This is perfect!

I really hoped that I didn't had to proof it but whelp...

I know you Nezu.

You won't be able to just ignore a vigilante who basically picked a fight with you.

It was still daytime and don't get me wrong, I knew why Nezu told me not to actually be in the hero course. I knew it but I still wanted to be a hero. My body was quite week after all these experiments and me using my quirk to a certain point where I overused it. Nothing against his protectiveness. It's not about me being able to controll it but the quirksdrawback itself. 

To be fair, I could change time or more like stop it but while I was stopping it the more I was doing it the weaker my body gets. So I tend not to do it a lot and only in cases I needed it. Then the drawback is actually also not fixated and if I would move or change anything while stopping the time then I would be screwed afterwards. If I would be a hero, I would do it. I wouldn't even bet an eye not to do it if it could safe a person! I would do it 100% without hesitation. So telling me it was dangerous was pretty much accurate and I did get that he was scared about me and why it just.... I feel way to protected as if I was small kid but I am not a small kid anymore.

As I was thinking about the costume and how dangerous it will be for me, I also decided to put the costume away more in reach because I would go out in the night to challange Nezu. Meanwhile I for sure will be having some lessons and as if on clue I heard my name being called from downstairs.

Me: Coming!

This should be Vlad. 

It's his day today.

After putting the costume away for only me to know where, I went down to Vlad and saw him sitting in the living room with some snacks.

Vlad: Gotcha some snacks from Lunch Rush.

Me: Thanks.

Vlad: How are you today?

Me: Good.

Vlad: You don't seem in a good mood.

Me: It's fine. 

Vlad: Want to talk?

Me: No but can you tell me stories?

Vlad: Again? You really love hero stories huh.

Me: Yeah and if I could, I would love to be at UA.

Vlad: I get that and that's why we are coming around to teach ya. Nezu made us all come here to teach you for one day so you can just join a class you want. Don't worry you will get better. Your father is doing all he can do that.

Me: I know...

Vlad: Soo what you wanna hear?

Me: Hmm... what about recent villains and heroes or vigilantes.

Vlad: Villains and vigilantes?

Me: Yeah... you always tell me about Endeavor and All Might and Hawks but never much about others. I wanna hear the villains and vigilantes.

Vlad: Alright but this is between us because Nezu will freak out if he knew we didn't do any lessons.

Me: You bet.

Vlad: Alright soo here is what I know...

This teacher was telling me everything he knew including about a villain group called LOV which apprently also attacked UA once but that is all. I also heard about some new vigilantes and so on but from what Vlad told me they already knew where the LOV was and were just warching them for now. Sooo all ing all no one was messing with UA and guess what?!
