Chapter 7 ~ house mate ~

After making them both some rice porridge and dispensing Andy's painkillers Lon set up a small work space for himself on Andy's dining room table. He could complete his work, make his phone calls an still keep his eye on the patient.

He didn't need to be on-site full time so he could quite happily work from here, in a way it was better for him because it was in the village and not several miles away in the hotel.

Andy's house was a modest two bedroom property but Lon had placed his bags in the one which was in use. He had every intention of sleeping with Andy because he could not be trusted to not try and do things by himself during the night.

He made a quick call then told Andy he would get a quick shower and made him promise he would not stand up while he was gone. Andy decided to cast an episode of SOTUS to his TV and re watch it, it was the episode where Oon was sat with Kong and spooned loads of chillies onto his food and was making him eat it.

Lon walked into the room after his shower, his hair was damp and combed back and he was fastening the buttons on his shirt. Andy couldn't help but stare as Lon watched the drama laughing at what was happening.

He is so fucking hot Andy thought to himself as he felt a blush rising to his cheeks then he quickly looked away before he could be caught in the act. 

"can I ask you a question?" he asked Lon.

" sure, go ahead"

"well, you only look young yourself, how are you so wealthy and successful at your age" he asked curiously.

"who said I'm wealthy though?, I think you'll find it was you who made that assumption" Lon answered.

" I admit, I get paid very well, my boss is also my best friend but he's the guy who's the successful entrepreneur and he deserves it all, we both worked bloody hard in the beginning but no one worked as hard as Kiri" Lon continued.

I thought perhaps your parents ... " Andy said.

"I don't have any parents Andy, I'm an orphan" 

"I'm so sorry Lon, I didn't mean to pry, I'm sorry for bringing it up" Andy felt awful for asking.

"don't worry about it Andy, I made peace with it many years ago" he replied ruffling Andy's hair.

Andy couldn't help but stare at Lon, he was so different to the image he had built up in his head. He was beginning to feel like such an asshole for saying those awful things to Lon, he really was a nice person just as Champ had suspected.

Lon worked in his makeshift office for a few hours while Andy watched tv, read a little then fell asleep. Lon glanced over at him, he was still very angry about what he had done but after learning a little bit more about him, he could understand why he had done that. For all his cursing, he really was a big softie, Lon also suspected he was a virgin and his stomach flip flopped at the prospect.

It was soon time to make dinner so Lon decided to make an omelette then later, when Andy couldn't hold it any longer he told Lon he needed to go to the bathroom.

Lon carried him then lowered him near to the toilet. 

"do you need any more help?" he asked

" no thank you, I'm fine from here" Andy said

"I'll wait outside then" and he went out of the bathroom, leaned up against the wall and folded his arms.

"your not listening are you?" Andy shouted

"we're all the same Andy, just do what you need to do"

"I can't go if your listening"

"shall I carry you back to your chair then?" Lon bluffed

"no, no, I'll go" Andy said and did what he needed to do.

Lon stood in the hallway smiling to himself, that kid was so stinking cute!

"hey kid" he shouted through the bathroom door, "if you watch those dramas, can you speak thai"

"I suppose I've picked up a few phrases and I know a little bit from my friend too, he's half Thai and it was him that put me on to the dramas, he said his nan watches them all the time but he would really kill me if he knew I had told anyone"

"do you want me to teach you a little while I'm here?" Lon asked.

"wow, would you?" said Andy opening the bathroom door before Lon scooped him up into his arms once again.

"what do you know up to now? " Lon asked as he was transporting him back to the living room.

"raikantopeni" Andy said to which Lon burst out laughing and Andy hit him on the arm.

"well I know your my phi and I'm your nong and I know how to say hello, goodbye, thank you, I like you, I love you" Andy said.

"chan k rak khun" Lon replied

"what does that mean?" Andy asked.

"you'll have to learn more and find out won't you" Lon replied.

At dusk Lon carried Andy outside so he could put a plate of cat food in the run and when he saw Thorntype come outside to eat it, he started crying again. They stayed for a while, Lon with his arm around Andy supporting him and then he carried him back inside.

The next hurdle was bath time. Lon had been informed by the doctor that he could remove the support boot but Andy could not move his ankle about just yet so much to Andy's chagrin Lon insisted on lifting him into the bath staying with him so he could make sure he was behaving himself and lifting him out again to help dry him.

Andy had never been so embarrassed in his life. Lon carried him to his bedroom, got him some shorts and a vest to sleep in and helped him to dress and strapped his boot back on then made sure his hair was dried properly and lifted in in to bed.

Lon popped back to the bathroom to take another quick shower himself and came back into the room wearing similar before also climbing into the bed beside Andy.

"what the hell, I do have a spare room you know!"

" I'm staying here, I don't trust you to behave during the night" Lon answered them threw his arm and one leg over the top of him being careful not to hurt his body.

"what the hell Lon you don't need to pin me down, I can't move" Andy said shuffling about.

"you should really stop wriggling about Andy" Lon said and when Andy asked why, Lon thrust his hips against Andy's thigh making Andy gasp when he felt the hardness.

"is this really necessary?" Andy said.

"yes, go to sleep baby but wake me up if your in pain" Lon replied and shuffled in a bit closer.

Andy did eventually fall asleep and when his soft snores could be heard, Lon opened his eyes and watched him in the soft glow of the lamp. Lon had been sworn to secrecy regarding what was being built on the land he had bought. He wished he could tell Andy and the rest of the team but his loyalty was with Kiri.

In time, all would be revealed but in the meantime he had to keep Andy by his side. This kid was a contradiction, one moment he acted like a brat, the next he was as cute as the little hedgehog he had saved, that's right, he's cute and yet prickly thought Lon smiling at his own humor then he shuffled a little closer and closed his eyes.
