Chapter 10 ~ really? ~

Since Andy had been laid up with his injuries he hadn't been able to see the guy's, of course Champ had visited a few times to ask if he could do anything to help but because Lon was staying, there wasn't much for Champ to do but it was a kind gesture.

It had been a few day's since the heated interaction with Ian and Lon was still pissed off about it. Andy had texted him that night and even though Lon didn't know what they had chatted about, he knew that Andy enjoyed the other boys company, the smile was very telling.

Lon had to go to the site later on this evening to receive a big delivery of timber, it was out of work hours so because he was in the village it was no big deal to go down and wait for the delivery himself. 

He decided to jog there and back, it had been a while since he exercised so it was the perfect excuse. Andy was beginning to be a little more mobile now. he was getting about with the aid of crutches but he still was not allowed to be on his feet for long periods.

He could make himself a hot drink and get snacks from the cupboard and get his own medication if needed. Lon still didn't like leaving him but Andy assured Lon he would be fine so at about 5.30pm he put on his track gear, did a few stretches on the back garden and set off on his run.

Andy wasn't expecting anyone so he was a little surprised when he heard a knock on the door. Grabbing his crutches he went to answer the door and found Ian on the doorstep.

"hey, I was passing and I just thought I'd stop by to see how the patient is getting on?" Ian asked.

"hey Ian, come on in" Andy said.

"your husband isn't here is he? I'm too young to die" Ian laughed.

"husband? what husband? he's just a bit over protective I think?" Andy said then continued,

"let's go and sit out back, it's a lovely evening, I'll get us a drink"

"don't worry, I'll get it, no need for you to be on your feet unnecessarily" Ian replied as they walked through the house and when they reached the kitchen, Andy sat down while Ian made them both a drink which he carried out through the adjoining conservatory and out to the back garden while Ian toddled behind.

Sitting down on the patio furniture they just enjoyed the silence for a few moments before Ian spoke.

"so, where is he then?"

"you mean Lon? he's had to go to work for a while" Andy replied.

"are you guys dating?" Ian asked.

"what? whatever gave you that idea" Andy asked him with a look of surprise on his face.

"he is crazy about you Andy, it stands out like a sore thumb" Ian said.

Andy laughed "I don't know about that?"

"your in denial mate" Ian responded.

"may I ask you a personal question Ian?" Andy broached the subject.

"sure, go ahead"

"are you gay?" he asked.

"well, if I had to put a label on it I guess you could say I was bi' I don't really care who I date as long as we make each other happy, why, does that make you feel uncomfortable" Ian asked.

"no, not at all" Andy waved his hands to emphasize the fact.

"it's just, I've been wondering about some things but there really isn't anyone I can talk to about it. All my friends are kind of ... you know, I'm a man grrrr, I just thought because we both enjoy watching BLs obviously your not homophobic so maybe I could talk to you?"
