Graduation

Time: End of the school year

Vy's POV:

The school year flew by. The jocks continued to beat us up from time to time, the bitches tried to hurt us, but they all failed. Frank found a girl named Jamia and their dating, Ray found a girl as well he name is Christa. Mikey, Gee, and Maura are all happy with their relationships, Jay is close to giving birth and is happily married to Billie. Then there's me. I'm still single, and unhappy. I hide my unhappiness from my friends because I can't have them worrying about me.

I hear the bell ring thus releasing us from school, it's the end of the day. I pick up my stuff and start walking home. Gerard lately has been going straight to Lyn-z' after school and not coming until the early hours the next day. Everyone else goes with their partner, leaving me alone. When I get home I go straight to the basement, I grab my journal and plop into my bed. I've been writing songs lately, I have a couple so far. I need strong emotions to write good songs, anyone does.

I jot down some lyrics in the back of the journal, I've accumulated quite a few different lyrics back there. I'll probably end up using them in future songs. I flip to a completed song and grab my guitar.

I go through the first verse and the chorus before I notice Lyn-z and Gerard standing in my door way. I stop singing and slam my journal shut. "What's that song called? I haven't heard it before." Gerard questions. "You shouldn't of heard it." I say. "What do you mean?" He asks again dumbly. Lyn-z turns to face him and hits him upside the head. "She created the song dumb ass." She walks over to me and sits on my bed besides me.

"So Gee told me that your school put your prom on your graduation, am I right?" She says. "Yup! Their making it manatory that we go to the prom as well." I sigh. "OH MY GOD!! YOU AND GEE SHOULD GO TOGETHER!!" She explodes. "What?" Gerard laughs. Wow, the thought of us going to prom makes him laugh, just wow. "If I wasn't in the picture I just know that you two would be together!! You'd be so cute together!!" She says happily.

"You think so?" I say. "Yes! Gerard leave so we can discuss dresses!" She says. "Do I have a choice in this?" He asks. "Nope. Now leave." I say. "Fine." He mutters and leaves. Lyn-z shuts the door behind him. "I already have the perfect dress for you in mind! We just need to got to the mall later." She smiles. "Can I know what the dress looks like at least?" I ask. "You'll see when we go shopping later." She says. "Well I don't have school tomorrow so we could shop then." I suggest.

"Perfect! I got to go if I want to get home before dark. Bai Vy!" She smiles as she walk towards my door. "Bai Lyn-z!" I say. She opens the door and Gerard falls on to the ground. "Listening in on our conversation much." I say. "No...." He says guiltily. "I know what your wearing as well." She smirks at him and waves bye. She walks up the stairs and I hear her walk out the door.

 "Tell me what you know!!" Gerard demands. "I don't know anything! She said that she has the pefect idea for me, that's all." I say. "UGH!!" He storms off, presumably going to his room. He is such an ass. What's so bad about going to prom with me? He must have been faking our friendship. I put my guitar up and head upstairs for dinner. "Hey Mama!" I say as I give Donna a hug. "Hey hunny. Gerard just went out and Mikey hasn't come home yet. Do you want me to put aome pizza in the oven?" She asks.

"That sounds good, thanks. I'll be in the other room if you need me." I walk out of the kitchen and go lay down on the couch. "I'm home." I sit up to see Maura walking downstairs to our room. About 10 minutes later I hear Donna. "Pizza's ready girls!" She says. I get up and walk into the kitchen. I grab a couple pieces of pizza, eat them and head back downstairs. I lie down on my bed and I must have fallen asleep because the next thing I know I'm being shaken awake.
