Maura's POV:

I wake up to the sound of mom yelling. "WHAT THE HECK DID YOU DO TO YOUR HAIR?!" Next, I hear Vy stumble with her words. "Sorry! I'll dye it again! I promise!" I can tell that she's flashing mom a crooked smile right now. "You better. School starts tomorrow. Here's your shit." I hear the sound of multiple objects crashing to her floor.

I watch as my door flies open and I see mom standing in the door way. "This belongs to you." She tosses my stuff on my floor and leaves. I get, walk over to my closet, grab my Weezer shirt, some black skinny jeans, and some converse, I change into my clothes and walk over to the kitchen. I put on a new pot of coffee and walk over to Vy's room.

I knock on the door. "C'mon you lazy ass, get up before all the coffee gets taken!" I hear her stumlble out of bed, probably landing on the floor. "No!! That coffee is mine! And mine only!" She shouts. "Then move your ass!" I shout back, I walk back tot he kitchen and get us some coffee. "COFFEE!!!" I step back from the counter.

I watch as she happily downs her drink and walks off. "Hey Mar. Can you help me with my hair?" She asks as she walks away. "Sure!" I say. I follow her to her room.

****  30 minutes later ****

So I'm sitting on Vy's bed with her, playing with her hair. It's bright red now and still so soft!! "You wanna go tot he mall?" She asks. "Yeah! Just let me fix my hair." I get up and walk off to my bedroom. I brush out my hair and walk back to her room. "OH MY GOD!! YOUR HAIR IS SO CUTE!!" I sqeual. She has her hair up in a high pony tail, with her fringe hanging in her face.

"Shut up. Say one more word and I'll kill you." She glares at me. "No promises!" I laugh. "Whatever. Let's just go." She walks out of the house. We start walking in the direction of the mall, it's just a couple blocks away from our house. When we get to the mall we immeaditly go to Hot Topic. About after being in there for 10 minutes I notice this extremely hot guy.

"Vy! Look at him!" I whisper at her and move her so she can see him. "Holy. He is hot! Go talk to him!" She says. "I don't want to leave you though." I say concerened. "You know me, I'll be fine. Now GO!!" She pushes me towards hima nd I accidently bump into him causing us to fall to the ground. Seriously, ugh.

Vy's POV:

Oh crap! Well, now she has to talk to him. "I saw what you did." I jump back and tur around. "Holy! You scared the crap out of me!" I sigh. "Sorry. I noticed how you pushed your friend into my friend. Actually that's what he did for me, but to you." I see the blush on his face and I can feel mine appearing.

"My name is Autumn, but my friends call me Vy!" I say to break the awkward silence between us. "I'm Alex. Do you want to go get coffee with me?" He asks. "Yeah! Lets go." He takes my hand and leads me out, but I turn around call for Maura and I flip her off. "What was that for?" Alex asks, bring my attention back to him and not Maura's reaction.

"No reason. I mess with her allot so." I shrug. He laughs and we continue on. We end up taking the long way to Starbucks, while we talk about ourselves just trying to get to know each other better. So far I found out that he's my ageand that he's visiting from Baltimore, Maryland. Once we get to Starbucks, we continue our converstation.

"So, do you play and instuments?" Alex asks. "Yeah, I play rhythm guitar and I sing a little. What about you?" I ask back. "I play rhythm guitar as well and I sing too!" He says happily. "You've gotta let me hear you play! At least once!" I say. "Only if you play with me." He cocks his head a little to the side after he speaks.

"Deal!" I agree. That goes on for a little while longer until Mar and her 'friend' show up. "Hey Vy!" She runs up to me and sits on me. "Hi?" I glare at her. "Introduce me to your friend here." She demands. "Mar this is Alex. Alex this is Maura. Now you introduce me to your 'friend' that I so expertly pushed you into." I smirk at her.

"Vy this is Pete. Pete this is Vy." I push her off of me and move over to Alex's side of the table. "Hey, Bitch!" Mar yells at me. "And I have to live with her." I sigh and shake my head. "Um, Vy we need to go." Maura says a couple minutes later. "Kay. Hey Alex, here." I pass him a note, get up and leave with Maura.

About 10 minutes later a get a call. "Hello?" I ask. "Hey Vy! It's Alex, thanks for leaving me the note!" Alex laughs. "Your welcome!" I reply. "So, do you wanna go on a date tomorrow?" He asks. "Sure! What time?" I ask. "Give me your address and I'll pick you up at 7, how does that sound?" He poses.

"That sounds great!" I give him my address and hang up. "Ooh! Vy has a boyfriend!" Mar sqeuals. "No, it's just a date. Anyways, what's up with you and Pete?" I smirk at her. "We talked, got to know each other and ended up making out." She mumbles. "Ooh! Maura has a boyfriend!" I mimick her. "So? I really like him." She blushes.

"I know." I smile, we walk home and colapse into our beds. I fall asleep, thinking about my day and Alex.
