Paul responded with a Rock Slide attack, but Torterra was able to shrug it off and keep fighting.

As the battle continued, Ash and Paul continued to swap Pokemon, each one trying to gain the upper hand. Ash's Infernape managed to take down Paul's Magmortar with a well-timed Mach Punch, while Paul's Gastrodon took down Ash's Buizel with a powerful Surf attack.

But in the end, it was Ash's Pikachu who emerged victorious, delivering the final blow to Paul's last Pokemon, a Ninjask. The crowd went wild as Ash was declared the winner of the Sinnoh Championship.

As the crowd erupted in cheers, Misty ran to Ash and kissed him deeply, their bodies pressed together. The sun was setting behind them, casting a warm glow over the scene.
