Eda's Pov

I felt bad for the kid, but I don't know if I should trust him or not, but he has not done anything so far but act scared and innocent, but I know it's just an act. (Eda is not a bad person it just she thinks the golden Gard was part of everything the emperor did to her and luz.) 

Raine dragged me back into the kitchen and told me that the kids name is hunter, and the emperor was abusing him after locking him up for some reason. It didn't really surprise me that the emperor hurts people, just look at what he does to wild witches but to hurt a kid that's insane. Raine said that the kid it terrified to the bone around the emperor, so they think the beating has happened when he was Golding Gard. 

After a couple of minutes, I start to get hungry, so I make some food and bring the food out for everyone to eat.  the whole time eating I couldn't take my eyes off the scar on the kids face so I asked what every Adult was thing when they meet him, "what happened to your check?"  the kid takes a second to finish eating the food in his mouth before replying "I didn't listen."  I look shocked and looked at Raine ad Darius who had an angry but sad look on their face, 

"Why didn't you listen" I said somewhat in a joking but serious voice, " He wanted m-me to lie to t-the coven s-scouts" hunter whispered, "about what?" Raine speaks shakily " M-my relation to him" 

'Who is him I thought, is he talking about the emperor or someone else'

time skip (in the afternoon)

3p Pov

To say the owl house was quiet was an understatement. Luz got home a couple minutes ago with Amity and let's just say it wasn't a pretty party.

Amity Pov

Luz and I was talking about the good witch of Lzura on the walk to the owl house, we opened the door to see Eda, Rain, Darius on the couch and why is the Golden Gard here I push luz out of the way and land on him punching him with abomination goo while yelling at him "WHAT ON TITAN ARE YOU DOING HERE GOLDEN GARD" "Amity let him go its ok" Eda states and pulls me off him.

I take a look at him to see staring at me with wide eyes holding his nose to keep the blood from coming out, he is holding his side with is other hand, Raine goes up to him and starts to calm him down. 'What the heck is happening' 'why is everyone being so kind to the Golden Gard' Eda takes me and luz into the kitchen and tells us to play nice with him.

I look back out of the kitchen to see him with Raine attending his nose to make it stop bleeding. Luz grabs my arm and says we can leave if I don't feel comfortable or we can go up to her room.  we went to Luz room, and I was kind of glad it was clean compared to the house, we sat on her blanket zipper (sleeping bag) and cuddles, after a couple of hours Raine and Darius had to go back to the coven castle or emperor would get suspicious of their absents or something like that.

Hunters Pov

Eda was planning to go to the night market, and I decided to tag along she gave me a shirt with a hood and told me to put it on.  when we arrived, I saw a lot of coven scouts and decided to stick with the owl lady, we were walking for a long time when Eda ran ahead, I ran after her but got lost in the crowd. 'Wow you were the Golden Gard, and you can't even catch up to the owl lady what would Belos say now or more like what would he do' "I thought I could catch up to her but she's good at running." I started to look around to see if I could find her, but I couldn't, I wondered to this certain booth which was a bookstore, I looked to see if they had any about wild magic, but I felt and arm rap around me and pull me up "kid we got to go now" "Eda-" 

next thing I know Eda is running with me in her arm away from coven scouts, when we get halve way through the crowd, I feel electricity hit my, making me fall to the ground, I look over at Eda to see her passed out. The last thing I hear was footsteps coming closer until everything around me turned dark.  

 Where am I what happened. What is that sound. Why is it's so dark. "Ah hunter I'm glad to see you, I was starting to think you died" Wait don't tell me that's Belo- "HUNTER WAKE UP!" "AHH W-wha" " so glad to see you again, don't you think so? what's wrong hunter are you not grateful I saved you from that owl lady." 

I sat up to see I'm in the basement, I feel my hands tied together and chained to the floor, "well isn't this a shame you have no way to defend yourself" Belos said with a smirk.
