Evelin and Caleb story #2

Evelin Pov

I saw the fear in Caleb's eyes, once my dad let go of him, he ran out of the house without looking back. "Why did you do that?" I yelled, we started to yell at each other until my mom broke us up.  After a long minute I ran out of the house to look for Caleb, I rushed into the woods and heard whimpering coming from a bush, I walk over to it to see a teenager but not a regular one, he was the same as Caleb, he was a human. 

I move a piece of the bush and I see scared brown eyes looking at me, "please no more" he squeaked out, "what happened" I said calmly.  I saw tear marks and cuts on his face "can you come out of the bush?"  he moves hastily, he stood up next to me "are you Philip?" "h-how do you know my name" he said shakily "I'm a friend of your brother" I smiled.  We talked for a few minutes until I felt the temperature drop, "let's get inside, it's going to rain soon" "but I love the rain" he said sadly 'is this kid asking for a death wish' I think as we made my way back to my home.  I open the door and was brought in a hug from my mom, "where were you young lady" she said angerly but stopped when she saw the boy.    "I thought he had blond hair and a little older?" "Mom this is his younger brother Philip."

I told my mom I needed to find Caleb before something happened and that is why I am in the woods for the third time today. I walked around until I felt something sting in my arm, I look around to see it starting to rain, I cursed under my breath and ran until found a deep cave. I just made it in when it down poured, making my way into the cave I found an orange light "Evelin?" I look around and saw Caleb by the orange light "did you make that?" I pointed to the light "yea I need to stay warm" he said kindly.

I told him I found his brother and he is safe at my house from the rain but as I said that his eyes grew huge, and he ran towards the entrance "Caleb!" I yelled but was too late "AHHH" I rushed out and saw him holding his hand with blood rushing down his arm, I put my magic around me and went over to him. "Stay close" I whisper to him making me was back to the cave, we went by the light (fire) and I told him to let my see his hand he showed me, and I cringed at it. 

The whole back side of his hand was open, I remembered some healing spells and healed him the best I could. 'He's so brave yet so dumb at the same time, so cute looking too' I start to blush thinking about how cute he is "are you ok, you're a little red, are you sick" he said moving his good hand to my forehead. "W-what I'm fine" I said blushing even more, "are you sure?" 'Aww he is so sweet- wait no stop I can't think that- but I would be lying if I don't.' I shake my head to get rid of the thoughts. 

He told me the light was called fire and it heats stuff up, we sat beside each other looking into the fire making small talk, I lean my head on his shoulder, "tired?"  I nod my head "you can sleep I will wake you up when the rain stops" "ok" I said drifting of to sleep. 

Time skip(2 hours)

I wake up to something shaking me, I open my eyes to see beautiful brown eyes, I could look at them forever but the titan has other plans. I look away feeling blush creeping across my face, "Hey are you ok, you look a little red" Caleb whispered "w-what" I said stuttering all over.  "it stopped raining, so I woke you up, was that not the right move?" he said so innocently, 'he is so cute' I think to myself. "Lets just go" we make our way back home and we see smoke coming from the house "what on titan" I whisper under my breath. WE both run to my house but stop when I see a hooded figure standing outside of the house with a small burn stick, I go to run over but feel something grab my arm, I turn around to see Caleb holding my arm pointing to a pathway. 

He moves to the pathway and pulls me down "w-what" "shh" he whispers looking over a thick bush "footprints lead this way" he continues to whisper "but their is more then the people in your family" "what?" "just stay quiet and follow me" he said while moving slowly still crouching.  we continue for a little while but we hear a creep laugh "what was tha-" Caleb puts his hand on my mouth and speaks very quietly I could hardly hear him "don't talk plz" he removes his hand and stops completely grunting in pain. "Caleb?" "Caleb look at me, what's wrong?" He holds his head and his groaning becomes louder by the minute, He turns my way and I see his eyes glowing bright blue, he puts a hand on his mouth trying to quiet screams, I start to panic and put a shield bubble around us "Caleb are you ok?" he has his head down and is shaking very violently, I grab his chin and pull his head up, so I can see his face. I see tears silently streaming down his face, with his hand still over is mouth "let it out Caleb" I say bring him in for a hug, he starts sobbing in my arms whispering how sorry his is.  

"what happened?" I say after a couple minutes, "I saw something, I didn't want to see" he said shakily. "I saw the people I care about dying and it was my fault" he quietly spoke, I push him  out of my lap carefully and stand up "Evelin?" I ignore him and see some figures making a huge illusion, "what on titan" I whisper silently.

3 hours earlier (at the house)

Amanda Pov (Evelin mothers name) 

I see my daughter come in with the human but he looked different, he had brown hair and was smaller then the other, "I thought he had blond hair and a little older?" "Mom this is his younger brother Philip" she stated telling me about Caleb, but I wasn't really listening to her because the  'Philip' kid has something off about him.

I when up to the kid and notes he had small cuts on his face "do you wana clean your cuts?" He nods "what happened" I ask getting the med kit out.  "I fell" He lied "you can tell me how it happened, I wont be mad" I assured him, "s-some people attacked me" he spoke quietly, he looked uncomfortable so I decided to change the subject. "you look a lot like your brother" I said with a smile "really?" "yea you might have different hair color but you almost look the same" so what if I lied a little, I made the kid smile and feel more welcomed.

I put the med kit away and went into the kitchen "hungry?" "yea a little" "what do you want?" "grilled cheese" "what on titan is that?" I ask surprised by his answer  "you never had a grilled cheese?" he answered surprised to "that's what me and Caleb mostly eat, if we have enough money" "oh well do you wana tech me how to make it" He smiles and walks to the cupboard and stops "do you have any bread?" "Yea we should" I look in another cupboard and pull out a loaf of bread.

He starts to grab four pieces of bread and lay them flat out of the counter "can I have the butter please" "sure" I hand him the butter and he puts it on the bread "what is in this 'grilled cheese?'"  he ignores me and puts a pan on the stove "do you have any cheese?" "yea the refrigerator" he grabs the cheese and put a piece on the pan and it sizzles "this is the best part" he puts the cheese on top of the bread and it stars to melt.  He puts another piece of bread onto pan flips the whole thing over, he does this to the other uncooked piece and when it done it smells amusing, he take a bit and so do I "this is really good" "you its is but it's not the same like Caleb's" he spoke with a small smile "I'm sure they will be back soon" "right".

another half an hour past and I am knitting a blue and purple blanket until I hear a scream come from the kitchen where Philip was, I rush in to see Bill holding him by the arm "I thought I told you to leave" he rises his voice "honey calm down its his brother" Bill locks eyes with me and pushes the boy to the ground "you let him in" he said yelling "yes now if you will just listing, I will help you understand" I walk over to Philip and pull his up "go into the living room dear ok?"  He walks into the living room slightly shaking "can you stop scaring the children" I saw somewhat joking somewhat serious.

Bill and I start to argue but we stop when we see a light coming from the living room. I rush in their and see Philip by the light holding a piece of paper with a orange/yellow light on it "what did you do?" I ask amazed that he created some magic without being a witch, "I got cold" he said normally. He puts the fire in the fireplace and sit close by it, I hear some banning on the front door , Bill went over to the door as the banning got more aggressive, he looked out of the peephole and i saw his breath hitch. "Amanda take the kid and run" he whispered "Bil-" "just go."

I grab Philips arm and pull him to the back door "WE KNOW YOU ARE IN THEIR, WE CAN HEAR YOU" someone from outside yelled. I open the back door and run into the woods, we stop and I look at my house to see 30 or more people surrounding our house 'Bill' I think to myself  'please be ok' not to long after the house goes up in flames "we need to leave. Now" I whisper but raise my voice at the end.

3p Pov

Amanda and Philip run fearther into the woods untill something hits the Philip. HE got shot in the arm by a thorn "Ahh" Philip said as it pierced his skin, letting blood slip out.
He holds his arm but gets pushed by the older witch "stay here, patch yourself up, dont move" she said as she takes a different path. "Over their" said one of the witches that was chasing Amanda.

Calebs pov.
 
 "what on titan" Evelin whispers under her breath "whats wrong" "we are surrounded by witches" she states making me stand up and look at all the different eyes looking at us or me with rage in their eyes. 'Oh shit'
