Amity has a meltdown at school and seeks comfort from her mentor
Tw for Autism meltdowns.

Amity had stared at her worksheet. Her anxiety was starting the spike. She barely knew this stuff, and she wasn't allowed to use notes. They just learned about this material! Why would they have a graded assignment already! She began chewing on her nail and bouncing her leg.
The annoying boys in the back were making fart noises, and for some reason, the whole class thought it was funny! Amity's breathing began to pick up. She could the girls snickering and gossiping. They were constantly talking about pik pok. It was starting to give Amity a headache. Her heart pounded against her ribcage.
She couldn't breathe now. Her eyes were starting to water, and her uniform started to feel uncomfortable. It was getting too loud.
She finally couldn't take it anymore. She sprinted out of the room when the tears started pouring out of her eyes. She ran into the restroom. No one was in there, luckily. She huddled in the corner, squeezing herself between the wall and the sink.
She pulled her knees up to her chest, trying to get as small as possible. One hand was hugging her leg, and the other was in her mouth. She chewed her hand, trying to find some sort of comfort. She cried and cried until she heard someone enter the bathroom.
"Amity, dear?"

Lilith was taking a stroll around the school. Luckily, she had no more classes left, but she still needed to do a lot of grading. She decided to take a break and walk around the school. She strolled through the abomination hall. She noticed the abomination goo all over the walls.
'Poor janitors' she thought to herself
Suddenly, she heard someone running from behind her. She turned around and saw her apprentice running into the bathroom, tears streaming down her face.
She got very worried and followed the poor, crying girl.
She walked up to the bathroom and immediately heard cries and stiffled sobs.
"Amity, dear?"
No response. All she heard was more cries and hiccups.
Lilith proceeded into the restroom. She let out a gasp when she saw her favorite student. There she was, Amity Blight, Liliths protégé, violently hitting her head on the wall, gnawing her hand, while curled up, trying to be as small as possible.
When Amity made eye contact with her teacher, the hitting and biting became worse. She started panicking more and more. The sobs were let out, no longer being stiffled.
Lilith quickly knelt down to Amity. She didn't know how to handle this. She figured that she should first stop Amity from injuring herself. She could tell Amity was close to drawing blood on her hand.
Lilith put her hand between the wall and Amity's head. Her hitting started to slow down, but the biting was still a problem. Lilith had an extra chewing necklace on her and quickly washed it in the sink before having to basically pry Amity's mouth open, taking her hand out, and replacing it with the teether. Amity's sobs died down and was replaced with hiccups and whimpering. She was still hyperventilating, so Lilith decided to try something.
"Amity, can you look at me?"
Amity shook her head. Her eyes were slightly open, but she still didn't want to look at anyone.
"That's okay, dearest, can you breathe with me? In for 4, hold for 3, out for 4." Lilith demonstrated by doing the breathing exercise.
Amity tried doing this, and at first, it was hard. Her breaths were very shaky, and she would let out a "hic" every two breaths. But soon enough, she calmed down enough to where her breathing was pretty normal.
"I'm 'hic' sorry," the small girl let out.
"It's okay, you don't need to talk if you don't want to. Can I give you a hug?"
Amity nodded.
Lilith embraced the shaking girl with a warm hug, and Amity accepted it. She wrapped her frail arms around Lilith and let out the last of her snot and tears on Liliths dress.
"Shhhh, it's okay, dear, everything will be fine, shh, shhh." Lilith comforted her protégé.
When Lilith pulled away, she realized that Amity had a really bad bite mark on her hand. Lilith made a decision that might help.
"Dearest, how about you spend the rest of the school day in my classroom. I'll grab your work and you can do it there. That way, I can also clean your hand without anyone else around."
Amity nodded. Lilith stood up and lent a hand to Amity. Lilith helped Amity off the ground. When they left the bathroom, however, Amity clung to Lilith's arm. Once they got to the empty classroom, Lilith sat Amity down at one of the desks before grabbing the first aid kid and cleaning Amity's hand. Amity still had the teether in her mouth while Lilith cleaned her hand.
"You like the teether?"
Amity gave a small nod
"You can keep it. It's one of my extras. Believe it or not, I also stim chew. I have autism, just like you." Lilith said, gently dabbing alcohol on the wound.
When they were done cleaning, Lilith called the teachers to make sure someone delivered Amitys work to her classroom. Lilith would have gotten it herself, but Amity seemed to not want to be alone. So Lilith moved all her work so she could sit next to Amity.
Lilith ended up walking Amity home as well. Lilith gave Amity one last hug before the green haired girl entered the big, cold house.

Lilith and Amity oneshots (REQUESTS CLOSED)
Fanfictionjust a book of oneshots about Lilith mentoring Amity. It's sort of a mother-daughter relationship. Amity and Luz aren't in a relationship in these. It would be very weird if they were. Anyway, I just wanted to give Amity a mother figure she deserves...
