Lilith and Amity oneshots (REQUESTS CLOSED)

sick days suck

Longest fic I've probably done. My allergies are being annoying, so I'm writing sickfics to help. Also, Amity lives with Lilith as mentor and apprentice.

Also, tw for vomiting.

Amity was awoken one morning by her emotional support cat, Ghost. Amity went to sit up, but she immediately fell back, finding herself weak and fatigued. She groaned, she was so tired, she barely got any sleep because she was congested the whole night.

Ghost kept demanding treats, so Amity conjured a levitation spell on the treats, but when they came over to her, it was wobbly. Amity didn't think anything of it. She took a treat out and handed one to Ghost.

Amity finally found the strength to get up out of bed. She felt slightly dizzy but continued with getting ready for school.

After Amity had gotten ready, she went downstairs, where she was greeted by Lilith, sipping on tea at the kitchen counter.

"Good morning, Amity. What would you like for breakfast?" She asked.

"I'm fine with whatever," Amity replied, sitting next to Lilith.

Lilith noticed that Amity had deep eye bags and was slightly paler than normal. Concern filled the women.

"Are you alright, dearest? you look a little pale…" Lilith worried.

She brought her hand up to check Amity's temperature, but Amity moved back.

"I'm fine, just a little tired, Ghost woke me up early this morning…" Amity admitted.

"Hmm, alright, I'll get started with breakfast," Lilith got up from her seat to start cooking scrambled griffin eggs.

Amity studied while she waited. She wanted to help, but Lilith assured her that scrambled griffin eggs were very easy to make and didn't require help.

After Amity finished breakfast, she grabbed her bag and began her walk to school after saying her goodbyes to Lilith.

Amity was greeted by Luz when she first got to school.

"Good morning, Amity!"

"Morning, Luz," she weakly smiled.

The two walked to their lockers together while talking about Azura and other things. Though Amity couldn't really listen to the conversation because of a piercing headache.

"I'm sorry, Luz, I think my allergies are acting up, and I'm getting a headache. Is it alright if we continue this conversation later? I'm so sorry." she apologized to her friend

"Of course, Amity! I hope you feel better, I should probably head to homeroom anyway, byeee. " Luz waved, running down to the plants corridor where her homeroom was.

By the time lunch rolled around, Amity was doing much worse. Her stomach felt like it was doing backflips. Her throat was scratchy, and she generally felt like crap. It was really hard to pay attention in her classes and almost dozed off. She was so tired but she needed to be at school. She couldn't just skip out on learning! That was preposterous! She would get through this. It's not like she hasn't gone to school like this before.

She trudged her way to the lunch room. None of the meals that they were serving sounded appetizing, but Amity decided she should try to eat something anyway. She grabbed some mystery meat nuggets and sat down at the table with her friends. She rested her head on her hand, dozing off every once in a while.
