Yo... I am a former resident of Earth now reincarnated here as Elvis living with my new parents Maguare and Kelvin, actually it's really hard for me to gather information about this world as Father and Dad both deny my questions by saying that I am too small for them to be answered or that I will know about them eventually. Hmm I am really curious to know about this world you know and I would also like to know about the situation I am in right now.
"This can't be, it's not possible. How could this be.. ?" the amount of disbelief and astonishment in Claren's voice was enough for me to know that something amazing has happened.
" I still can't believe my eyes, I guess I'm still not old enough to know about every miracle." the Chief's words made me even more curious and I looked at Dad for an explanation just to find him staring at me with his mouth open. ( close it dad it's embarrassing sheesh).
"Elvis, you ...... You grew wings! I have to tell about this to Maguare." My dad couldn't keep his excitement.
"Wait Kelvin, let's test his attunement too, maybe you'll have more to tell to Maguare."
I touched the attunement stone but nothing happened, neither did it glow nor did the color change. The surprised faces around me turned into a sigh.
"Chief it can't be, let's test again. How can Elvis not have a single common attunement of me n Maguare. There must be some mistake right?"
I could see the desperation and denial in my father's eyes, the satisfied look of Claren's face, the concerned look on Chief. Ah it's just too much for me too process. I just feel too tired, can't I just sleep.
" You know there aren't mistakes Kelvin, I know it must've came out to you as a shock.....
I could hear the chief explaining my dad but my sense of hearing was getting weaker and weaker and it was too hard to keep my eyes open. So I just closed my eyes for a bit and when I opened them again I saw that one face which I first saw when I came in this world, Maguare. I don't know why I don't want to leave Maguare. I feel so secured and and safe in his arms, is this what a parent's love is like, I should be really thankful that I got parents in this life.Maguare was looking a bit sad he was constantly caressing my head n wings. Oh wait I have wiiiiinggs, I quickly stood up to touch them, feel them. Maybe I could fly with them. I tried to move them but they were just waving here and there. Maguare then burst out laughing.
"It doesn't works like that my child. Here look.." Maguare raised his giant majestic wings, oh god I love them I just love them, so huge n beautiful. His wings had 3 pairs and he was showing me to do a flutter, I tried to copy him but it was hard.
"Not bad, you learn things quite fast, I still can't forget that you started walking just 2 months after you were born whereas an average child takes 6 months. You have to treat your wings just like your legs, you won't be able to fly cause you've grown wings. You have to get to used to them too."
"Hm seems reasonable, by the way Father, where is Dad?"
"He has gone to the Chief with Raphtalia to get your and Silvester's admission letter."
"Oh Maguare I haven't thought that fate would do this bad to a child" I saw Grandalia coming with his son. The way she looked at me in pity.
What's wrong with me huh, would someone mind telling me.
"But it's alright after all Silver is going along with him, he'll take care of Elvis."
"Thank you Grandalia, let's have a seat. Honestly I still don't want to send him away from me, but it's only because of Kelvin and you that I'm sending him."
I was just listening to this idle chit chat when I saw 2 people flying towards me.
"Aunt Raphtalia and Father are here."
I told everyone so they all got up and came to meet them.
"They can attend the Rainbow Imperial Wings Academy the next week." my father told us.
"All right, what's with mood? Cheer up people, our kids are going to beat some imperial asses out there." Everyone stared at Aunt Raphtalia. Bruh did she just say that. I can't explain how hard I was controlling my laughter.
"Read the room, u dumb musclehead." Grandalia scolded her.
Nothing much happened that evening, none of my questions were answered, instead Maguare told me he would think about them when I can show him that I have learnt to fly. So for the next week I gave it my all to learn it. I am dying from curiosity, ahhhhh just tell me what's wrong... And why the hell I can't levitate even though I put so much effort. It's frustrating but I won't loose. You see Father I'll show u in a week of what I'm capable of.So after one week I finally got the hang of using my wings, also is it just my imagination or they have grown bigger, like my wingspan is wider than my both arms stretched out. So the most I can do right now is levitate above the ground for about a minute and I've tried gliding with them which is affordable since I've safely landed twice in a row after jumping from the terrace (don't tell Father or I'll surely get an earful)
"Elvis, come it's time to eat then we have to pack your things for the departure"
"But you haven't answered my question yet."
" Have you completed the task I gave you?"( of course you can't it takes one month to just levitate off the ground and about 4 to 5 months to properly learn to fly, I feel bad for deceiving my own son he's way too curious and I don't want him to know things before his suitable age)
"(sulking) No but still... "
"Heh enough of idle chatting, now finish your food, we have to leave for your school too."
All right if you're not going to answer me, I guess I have to learn about them myself.
