The Tales of a Distant Planet

Chapter 1

"Open your eyes little one."
"Don't make your father wait too much my son"
I could hear voices and was thinking that what a vivid dream it was to be, since I never dreamt about my parents once in my whole life but then I felt a hand on my stomach, and honestly the hand was too big and I again heard someone talking
"Maguare why do you think he isn't opening his eyes? Does he not want to see me?"
"Don't be stupid Kelvin, let him take his time"
So I decided to open my eyes and when I did...  My whole world got changed  ... Like literally...  !
What I saw is something I cannot describe in words, i was in the hands of a beautiful man ( he's too pretty that can't be called handsome) blue eyes, lush long black hair, sharp jawline and a caring smile. This was the first face I saw when I opened my eyes.
"No way he's got your eyes Maguare"
Then I saw another person staring at me with those big emerland eyes, blond hair and a handsome face, i was feeling like I am watching faces from straight out of a webtoon, but it was all real when the sensation hit me that the hand on my belly was indeed real n alive n so am I...........

Huh......  Wait....  No....  This can't be......  If this is real then does that mean I've been reincarnated? .... Waaaaaaah...  And even if I am why are my memories still with me...... Unable to understand anything made my face expressionless which made the two a like bit confused and concerned. Then i decided if it's all real then I am gonna live my life to the fullest this time and I should be thankful to have my parents this time.  Ah speaking of which I haven't seen the face of my mother. Well I'll soon see....  Wait I have a mother right?

**5 years later**

Well to sum it up.....  I don't have a mother. In fact I'm the son of Maguare The Mage and Kelvin The Knight. We are called the Rainbow Tribe. Oh and did I tell u that we all have majestic pair of wings on our back,well if I haven't I have now. Also the societies and families are flexible like I have both male parents. Our neighbors, Grandalia and Raphtalia also have a son named Silvester.... Me?  I am called Elvis .... Elvis Maguare Kelvin! Yup we use the name of our parents as the middle n last name like Silvester Grandalia Raphtalia. Today is a good day as we, me n silvester are going to the Tribe head to attend our education (well it's school duhh never thought I would be going in one again)

So my dad Kelvin took us to tribe head. It's always so amazing to fly with him. There's a thing  I noticed not everyone has wings on their back or rather not the same amount like my Father(Maguare) has 3 pairs of wings and my Dad (Kelvin) have 4 pairs whereas Grandalia only has 1 pair while Raphtalia has 2 pairs and children don't have wings. Hmm I wonder what is it like that. After a short flight we reached at the home of Tribe chief.

His house was the biggest, not like ours was small either but his was on an entirely different scale. What I presume is his daughter welcomed us. She had 2 pairs of wings. The inside of the house was anything that I would have imagined. It was only for a shortwhile when I watched a man with 4 pairs of wings coming towards us with a gentle smile on his face.
"Oh my this little one looks just like Maguare, aren't u ashamed huh Kelvin"
I saw my father's cheek turing red and he let out a chuckle
"As if Chief... U only saw his face his body is just like mine."
"Well if u say so, so these two are this years new admissions? Well not that I doubt but have u tested their their attunement and power?"

Oh have I told you about attunement and power well I guess not. Attunement refers to one's capability to use a certain element and power refers to how much power u have (in other words it's magic but they don't call it magic here because everyone is born with it). I still remember my Father bathing me with his water attuned powers. Feels so amazing everytime he uses it. I still haven't figured out what my dad's attunement is though.
"Well, we haven't tested it yet."
"Then lets test it now, Claren, bring the attunement stone and Power gauze. Ah I hope u have one of the attunements of your parents little ones."
I guess attunement is hereditary. I'm already getting excited.
"Now Elvis and Silvester, listen carefully to what the Chief says OK."
"Alright little ones I'm gonna insert my power into you and you just have to touch the attunement stone."
Sounds simple enough. He started with Silvester who when touched the stone turned bright red with a silver of yellow on the border.
"Not bad kid, to think you got each attribute from both of your parents, but then it's quite unusual for you not to have the element which is common in them."

I wasn't getting anything so I asked Dad to explain me which he did by telling me that Raphtalia is double attuned with fire n forest while Grandalia is with lightning and forest and  the stone tells that he has talent for both fire n lightning and that in most cases if parents have a common attunement, it most likely passes onto the off spring as well, so that's why it was weird for him not to have forest attunement.

"Ah a double attuned, a commoner remains a commoner through and through tch." Claren said with a disgust in her voice while clicking her tongue. The chief then gave her a glare and she kept quiet then. It seems like I'm still unaware of the norms of this world. Dammit should've asked about all this to father (Maguare).

Now it was my turn I was getting superexcited as to what my power will be. The Chief then repeated the same procedure as earlier and inserted his power in me. It felt a bit weird at first but then I realised an unknown power surging within me as if it has unlocked something within me. I looked at my dad but the way he was looking at me was making me anxious...!
