Rulers of the forests, they have a unique trait of an animal, which gives them their special ability, of course that includes flying if the trait is of a bird or extreme strength if the trait is of a larger animal like bear, lycanthrope etc.
They mature at a very early age. Some can attain maturity even at the age of ten. They have an insane appetite and also have more stamina than compared to other species.
They maintain only trade and diplomatic relations with other species, and are neither friendly nor hostile towards any one. Their life expectancy is generally low, but some with the traits like that of a tortoise can live upto 800 years. Their powers depends fully on the traits with which they are born.
They are known to have exceptional fighters but majority of their population works in minial jobs just making their living. Beastketeers are extremely short tempered and revenge driven species and will even fight to death if taunted or angered.
