(As Jaime continues his training, he discovers that the Reach are planning another attack on Earth. He and Dr. Fate team up to stop them, but they are ambushed and captured by the Reach)
(The Reach reveal their plan to use the Scarab to enslave humanity and take over the planet. They attempt to extract the Scarab from Jaime's back, but Dr. Fate intervenes and uses his own powers to protect Jaime)
(Together, Jaime and Dr. Fate defeat the Reach and save the city. Jaime thanks Dr. Fate for his help and guidance, and Dr. Fate tells Jaime that he has the potential to become one of the greatest heroes of all time)
(The episode ends with Jaime learning about Dr. Fate's old colleague from the JSA, Ted Kord)
