I flew around the city just enjoying the peace and quiet, it was quickly disrupted by V who tackled me to the ground, we crashed into a car roof "There's my little buddy!" She says in a playful tone, I groaned hating the fact V or anyone for that matter didn't take me seriously. I was shorter then most disassembly drones were, I had gotten destroyed in the landing process and when I regenerated I lost a lot of my height being only a few inches taller then the common worker drones. "Get off of me V" I say "No way I'm going to cuddle you till I die!" She says hugging me. I used my stinger and stabbed her making her let go of me "Ouch!" She says as I got up "Leave me alone!" I shout before flying off again, I managed to lose V rather quickly as I was vastly more nimble then she was. I landed in a near by building and walked around the dark corridors just minding my own business enjoying the peace again. I was an introvert to say the least I hated being around others or at the very least talking with others. So I tended to sneak away and spend a lot of time on my own while I didn't hate everyone in my squad V was definitely the most annoying, J was alright to be around we often worked together in complete silence as she didn't mind me as I kept quiet and did my job. N was an odd one for me, he was everything I hated in one person but I got along great with him. But my thoughts were soon interrupted by J herself "Hey Y/n, I need your help with something, got a minute?" She asked "Yeah sure, what's up?" I asked as we got out of the building. "A small colony, they got tiny tunnels they use to get around, it's almost impossible for me to get around. But given your smaller size you should be able to get around fine" she says "Mmm I see, so that's why your being polite to me" I say as she usually wasn't as polite about getting me to do thing's unless I was the only one who could.

I followed J to the colony and found there tunnel entrance was hidden under a car "Hmm smart, but not smart enough" I say crawling under and into the tunnels. I crept around listening for an signs of life and eventually found it. I fired a few grenades into the room and listened as everyone panicked before they went off killing everyone. I climbed in and looked at the carnage I had caused. I rolled my eyes as I walked through the blood and guts left behind, I made my way through the tunnels clearing just about everyone out, any who didn't get caught by me J definitely got as I heard screams coming from behind me. After half an hour or so I could confidently say I had gotten everyone. Tracks didn't lead to anyone and I was walking around in circles looking so I called it quits grabbing a worker head as I left. I got back outside rolling out from under the car. I stood up and saw J drinking some oil from a worker "See you got the stragglers" I say "Yeah, could have warned me you know!" She says tossing the body to the side "Just keeping you on your toes" I say sipping oil out of the head "Well that's all I needed, I guess your free to go" she says. I nodded taking flight again. I landed on a building roof not to far away sitting on the edge as I drank my oil, I just sat there for an hour or more drinking and enjoying the view of the city. "Wonder what it looked like when it worked" I say "Who knows" I hear N say from behind me "Oh hey N, how's your day been?" I ask "Just great!" He says "J beat you again didn't she?" I asked "Yeah...." He says. It was a double edged sword when I joined this squad, N now had a real friend but it also made him realize how hated he was by everyone else. "What was it over this time?" I asked as he sat down next to me "Not getting enough kills today, you cleared an entire colony and I couldn't get ten...." He says I shook my head "J's a real bitch sometimes, she shouldn't compare you to me. Especially when she showed me where the colony was" I say. I noticed the sun began to peak and pulled N off the buildings edge, as we fell he spread his wings and sent us crashing into the building. Once we stopped tumbling I was laying on him he was definitely comfortable but I got up "Well guess we are stuck here for awhile" I say as we watched the sunlight envelope the window. "Yeah guess we are" he says "Should we sleep?" He asked "Mmm you can if you want to, I'm staying up for awhile" I say as I got a message from J asking if I was safe, "Huh J concerned about someone? That's different" I say sending her a reply. "J messaged you? I didn't get anything" he says disappointed, he flopped down on the floor with an upset look "Why am I such a screw up...." He says "Your not a screw up N, you just do things differently" I say sitting down next to him "But everyone hates me, the girl I liked out right said she'd never go out with me..." he says "Not everyone hates you and you know that, your my best and closest friend and I wouldn't have it any other way" I say putting an arm around him he tucked his legs up curling into a ball. "N you know I'm always going to be here for you to talk to, I will never push you away" I say, he suddenly grabbed me and pulled me in a hug my head resting against his chest "can we stay like this for awhile?" He asked "Yeah sure, you can pet my head if you want" I say as a small smile appears on his face, he enjoyed this as I very rarely let him do it but if he had a really bad day I'd usually let him. I felt his hand on top of my head as he started scratching my head. He moved his hand around a bit before he got behind my ear making me purr. I felt him chuckle slightly as he did making me smile, I rolled my eyes enjoying this little cuddle thing. Before long he stopped scratching me and I looked up to see him fast asleep arms slung down to his sides, I got up picking him up as well and setting us on a near by couch. I climbed back on top of him resting on his chest again. I carefully pulled his arms up around me and once I did I felt his arms tighten around me, I got comfortable and drifted off as well.

I was woken up by the sound of laughter and as I groggily sat up I saw J and V standing there laughing at N and I "Did you know they were lovers?" J asked "No, I thought he was still crushing on me!" V says. N slowly got up still half asleep "Oh great he's up" J says "Leave him alone J" I say as N looked at the position we were currently in, what I didn't realize was I was basically straddling him and he realized we didn't fall asleep on the couch. "Uhh Y/n, why are we on the couch? I fell asleep on the floor" he asked, this made J and V laugh more "He actually moved him and still chose to sleep with him!" V says. I switched to my gun and fired at them making them run off, with them gone I turned to N who looked at me confused, I got rather embarrassed realizing I might have a crush on this lovable idiot. I pushed him back down laying on him again "I'm still tired" I say, he scratched my head again "Are you going to explain why we are suddenly sleeping on the couch?" He asked "Do you want to keep scratching my head?" I asked "Yes!" He says "Then no I'm not going to tell you why we are" I say as I felt my face heat up. I suddenly felt his arms wrap around me in a hug "I think I know why" he says tightening his arms around me.
