Chapter 7: Stay

Tris POV:
My thought of being in a relationship with Fo-Tobias is finally happening. I hope that this experience will be better than my last relationship. His name was Peter of course, my partner in Math class. Ugh he's just so annoying!!

I push the thought away and think of the change that will happen since I am now with Four. We are now exiting the nurse's office and we are heading to our next classes. My head has a sharp pain and my legs feel weak.

I immediately fall forward and I land on Tobias, making him also hit the ground.

"Whoa-" he shouts as he makes contact with the floor.

"Tris? Are you okay?" he questions with a worried face and raised eyebrow.

I want to tell him that I'm ok to go to the next class, but honestly I don't have enough strength.

The only word I can muster to say is,
"No."

Tobias then cradles me in his arms, stands up, and asks me a question.

"Do you want me to take you home?
I don't know if you'll last the rest of your classes" he states simply.

"Please" I say and I rest my head on his strong shoulder.

"Alright" he pauses and strokes my hair,
"Just close you eyes Tris" he finishes.

When he immediately says that,
I fall asleep instantly.

Tobias POV:
Tris lays her head on my shoulder and I continue my way to her house. I don't drive to school because I only live 5 minutes away. Besides, it gives you a great amount of exercise.

Once we arrive at her house, I walk immediately to the door and open it. The door is surprisingly unlocked, which lets me have a clear path to Tris' bedroom.

I follow the staircase up to the 2nd floor and go to her bedroom. When I open her door, my instincts immediately lay her on her bed. She is still sleeping, even with the sudden movement of being put on her bed.

I take this opportunity to look at her room and admire it. On her bedside table, is a picture frame with a picture inside. The picture is of me and Tris when we were younger. She still has her beautiful eyes, adorable dimples, and her kissable lips.

Suddenly, I feel that I need to go home just to let her rest. But, I know that she would want me to stay with her. The negative thing is that Marcus is coming home from his business trip tonight.
Then a voice, the voice that I love, says my name through her lips.

"Tobias" she says. I turn around and go back over to the bed.

Tris POV:
My pain, from earlier is slowly decreasing. I'm hoping that Tobias is still here because I really want him with me right now. I hear footsteps walking over to my bedroom door. This, causes me to open my eyes and speak for what feels like forever.

"Tobias" I say with a small voice.

I see him come towards me and sit on the bed next to my body.

"What's wrong" he asks, immediately worried.

"Nothing" I grab his hand, "I just wanted you to stay"

"Oh" he pauses and takes my hand in his, "Of course I'll stay, why would I leave you here, all alone"

"I know you would never leave" I state simply with a smile.

"You know me so well" he replies with a smirk.

"Well, why shouldn't I? I mean I'm your-"

"Girlfriend" he finishes, "but your more than that to me. Well heck with it, I could write a whole freaking novel of how much you mean to me and the impact you've made on my life. Unlike my father, who made a terrible impact and no impact at all" he finishes.

By the time he finishes, I'm on the verge of tears.

"Thank you" I sniff, "I feel the same way about you" I pause,
"Can you come lay with me?" I finish.

"Of course anything for you!" he says and kisses my forehead.

Aweeee!!! I loved writing how Tobias feels it's so cute!!!
