Chapter 4: Shopping

Christina POV:
When I arrive at the mall, I look at my phone and it says '10:00am.' I told Tris to meet me here 15 minutes ago. She probably ran into Four or something. I really hope they have feelings for each other because they would be the perfect couple!!

Finally, I notice Tris exiting her Cadillac and she takes quick strides towards the entrance of the mall. We don't even exchange dialogue, we just exchange smiles and enter the mall.

The first shop on our right is luckily a dress shop. So to my shopping instincts, I grab her hand and drag her into the store.

"What are we doing? Let me just tell you right now I do not, and will not ever where a dress!!" she shouts quietly.

"Will it change your mind if I tell you why we're even here?" I question her with a raised eyebrow.

"Probably not, try me" she protests.

"Well, we are here to get a dress for you to wear on Friday to Four's party!! Does that change your mind now??" I plead, while I stick out my bottom lip and widen my eyes.

"N-" she stutters, "Fine!! but I'm only buying one!!" she says with a stamp of her foot like a 3 year old.

"But" I start, then her words interrupt me.

"No buts, I'm either buying one or none at all!!" she says in a sassy tone, while waving her finger.

"Ugh, fine!! God, Tris your stubborn" I say while laughing at the last part.

She shoots me a glare. As if glares could kill, I shrink into the nearest chair and cover my face.

"Come on Chris. I'm not gonna bite. Help me find something already!!" She says as she looks through at least 5 dresses that are hanging on the nearest rack.

I leave my spot from the chair and I start looking through the dresses with her. I wonder how long this will take, I mutter to myself underneath my breath.

Tris POV:
We have been at the dress shop for at least a half hour. All of the dresses have had the same fitting. Too long, short, tight, big, anything that could be wrong with a dress.

As I put on the last one, I feel confident that it will be the perfect fit. It is a red dress, that comes up mid-thigh. There are also rhinestones spread along the top half of the dress. In the front window when we walked in, I saw a matching pair of shoes that would go perfectly!! Wow when did I become so girly, I just laugh at the thought.

Once I zipped up the back, I opened the changing room door and walked out to the huge glass mirror.

Christina gasped, "Tris, you look amazing in that dress!!"

"Thank you!" I say as I admire myself in the mirror.

"I think that this is the dress" I say while turning around to see the back.

"I think so too!!" Christina squeals as she walks over to pay for the dress and the shoes from the window.

I then go back into the changing area and I put my regular clothes back on.

When we leave the mall, we have at least 4 bags on each of our arms. I guess you could say that we went to a couple more stores than we needed.

Once we reach my car, Chris helps me put my bags in my car. Then, we walk to her car and we put her bags in her trunk. I turn on my phone and the time says '11:15 am' and lunch is at 11:30.

"Chris" I say in a voice that will hopefully get her attention.

"Yea" she replies as she shuts the trunk of her car.

"We only have 15 minutes until lunch" I say as I walk back towards my car.

"Shit" she says and jumps in her car and revs up her car's engine.

When I arrive at school, I park my car and run inside the entrance and towards the cafeteria. I notice my new group of friends sitting down, so I join them.

So I decided to try to write a different character POV!! I think I will do that more often so we won't have the same characters speaking all the chapters😊
