My Best Friend's Love || Hyunlix

A few Days Later --Friday

"Hey, Jinnie..." Felix called out to his best friend, who was sitting on a couch in one of the practice rooms. "You are going with us tomorrow, right? To the movies?"

"I don't know... I-I just..."  Hyunjin started to answer back to Felix, but the latter cut him off.

"Come on, Jinnie... I want you to be there..." Felix pleaded.  "Please?"  Felix said with a puppy-eye look. 

"Does he know I'm tagging along with you guys?" Hyunjin asked.

"No.  But it shouldn't matter because you're my best friend." Felix answered.

Hyunjin doesn't know, but hearing the word best friend pierces through his heart like a knife. It hurts him knowing Felix only sees him as his best friend.  However, for Hyunjin, it doesn't matter.  He still loves Felix, even if it hurts him.

"Fine! I'll go with you guys. But once I feel like I'm third wheeling, I'm out of there!" Hyunjin finally gave in and agreed to go with Felix and Wooyoung.

"Yes! You wouldn't because I never agreed for it to be a date." Felix answered. "Well, I have to go... I'm hanging out with Seungmin and Jeongin."

"Ok! I'll call you later, Lixie." 

"Ok. See you!"  Felix got up from the couch and left the practice room.

Now Hyunjin is all alone. He decided to get up and practice dancing before leaving for the day. 

In the middle of dancing, the door opened, and Minho entered the practice room. 

"Hey, Hyunjin!  What are you still doing here?" Minho asked since Hyunjin doesn't have a class to teach for the rest of the day. 

"I'm eating... What do you think I'm doing here, hyung?" Hyunjin answered sarcastically. 

Minho was slightly taken back, "Ok, drama llama, don't make me bring out the air fryer." 

"Sorry, hyung. I'm just frustrated." Hyunjin answered while slamming himself on the floor. 

"About what?" Minho asked even though he had an inclination on what he was frustrated about or more like who.

"Nothing important," Hyunjin said.

"You may be able to lie to Felix, but you could never lie to me," Minho said. "I could tell why you are frustrated. You love him, I know."

"What?" Hyunjin sat up and asked Minho, "What are you talking about?"

"Felix," Minho answered. "We all know you're in love with your best friend. The only person who is oblivious to your feeling is Felix."

"Oh," Hyunjin said, "am I that obvious?"

Minho sat beside Hyunjin and tapped his shoulder, "It's ok. We all think that Felix has feelings for you also, but he's just not realizing it yet."

As much as Hyunjin wanted to be happy with that information, he didn't want to put his hopes up and be heartbroken. "Well, until then, I'm happy just being by his side as his best friend."

The two friends decided it was time to go. "Are you doing anything tonight?" Minho asked the younger one.

"Nothing, really," Hyunjin answered. "I was just planning on going home."

"Why don't you hang out with me and Changbin? Jisung is hanging out with Felix and Felix's friends anyway." Minho offered.

"Sure. Where are we going?"
