FELIX'S POV

Ugh...why does my head hurt so bad. I could hear Hyunjin and Chan. I'm trying to move my hand, but it feels so heavy. Eventually, I was able to move my finger. I just hear Hyunjin gasp.

"Are you ok, son?" Dad?!? Why is Dad here?

"Pa, Ma, I think I just felt his hand move." I heard Hyunjin say. I tried moving my hand again. "Ma! Look!"

I slowly tried to open my eyes.  But it's too bright. "Bokkie, baby... Mommy and Daddy are here." I could hear my mom. Finally, my vision is getting clearer.  I saw Hyunjin to my left, holding onto my hand. He had tears in his eyes.  I looked to my right and saw my parents with tears in their eyes.  Then I looked down, and I saw my brothers and Minho standing by the feet of the bed. Why are they all crying?  What happened?  I tried to open my mouth to talk, but no sounds will come out.  I saw Chan running outside.  Where am I? I tried to remember what happened.

Flashback

On the day of the Accident

I left for work about ten minutes after Chan left.  I got in the car, excited for today. I'm finally going on a date with Hyunjin. Well, I'm not even sure if he knows it's a date yet. But that's ok.  I hope he'll like my surprise.  I was listening to music in the car.  I was stopped at the red light, and when the light turned green, I started moving.  The next thing I knew, a truck was heading towards me at full speed.

End of Flashback

That's all I could remember. Everything went dark, and here I am. 

"Hi, Felix. My name is Dr. Nam. Can you hear me?" I guess I'm in a hospital, and this is my doctor.  I tried to open my mouth to answer him, but I couldn't.  "It's ok, Felix. If you could hear me, blink your eyes once." I did what I was told.  I saw everyone's face light up with a smile. The doctor checked me from head to toe.  I tried looking down, and I saw my legs were in a cast.

I felt someone rubbing my hand, and I saw Hyunjin next to me with tears in his eyes.  I tried to smile at him—letting him know I was ok. I guess he saw it because he started to smile at me too. 

"I miss you so much, baby!" He told me. My parents and brothers were talking to the doctor.

"I-I miss you, too." I was able to utter some words. Hyunjin got up and hugged me.  My family ran towards me.

"Baby! You could talk!"  Jisung said.

"I- need wa-water."  My throat felt so dry, and it was hard for me to speak.  My mom then poured some water into a cup and put a straw in it.  I didn't even realize I had an oxygen mask on my face until my Mom moved it away so I could sip some water. After taking a few sips of water, I felt my throat better.

"Hi, mom!" I said out loud, and it made everyone excited.

"Hi, baby! How are you feeling?" My mom asked.

"I'm doing ok. My whole body hurts, though."

"Do you remember what happened?" Dr. Nam asked me.

"Umm... I remember driving, and I was at a stop light when it turned green; I started to move, but the next thing I knew, there was a truck at full speed heading toward me. And that's all I remember. Everything went dark, and here I am." I tried to explain everything I remember. I turned to Hyunjin.
