The past few days without Appa and Amberly were semi- tolerable only because my dragon is keeping tabs on him. In the mean time, I tried my very best to open the box after the gang and I were dropped off in an oasis.

After me beating the son to a pulp without hesitation, of course.

I meditated away from the water to think about what had occurred. If I even attempt to change a major event that doesn't need changing, I will end up making it worse on my end and everyone else's.

'Does relationships count as major especially when it comes to Sokka? According to fanon and canon belief, I never actually knew what happened in the future. Did he have kids? Did he stay with Suki? What about Toph? Did she find someone? She must've if she had a daughter. And then don't even get me started on Zuko!'

I groaned at how much thoughts swirled around my head. Sokka looked up from the paper.

"Are you ok, Jasmine?"
"I'm fine."

I rolled my eyes and got up the rock to look at the map Sokka is holding. It looks like he traced a path to take for when we get moving. I glanced at the guy, and he is looking at me with an expression that struck me in the heart. I couldn't look away. His eyes are like sapphires.

"Jasmine, I-."
"WATERBENDING BOMB!" Katara yelled.

I used this as an opportunity to scooch away and run from the water splash, so I don't get wet. Successfully, I didn't get wet. However, Sokka did along with Toph.

"Sure! Five thousand year old maps from the spirit library; just splash some water on them!"
"Sorry," Katara grinned pulling the water out of the paper.

We all gathered together in a circle surrounding the map.

"So did you figure out what route we're gonna take?"
"Ok. We just got out of the desert, so we must be around here, and we need to go to Ba Sing Se, which is here. It looks like the only passage connecting us to the north is this sliver of land called the Serpent's Pass."
"You sure that's the best way to go?"
"It's the only way. I mean, it's not like we don't have Appa to fly us there."

I winced and returned to my neutral state.

"Shut up about Appa. Can't you at least try to be sensitive?" Katara asked glancing at me and Aang.

I held my expression while looking down at the map not facing anyone.

"Katara, it's ok. I know I was upset about losing Appa before, but I just wanna focus on getting to Ba Sing se, and telling the Earth King about the solor eclipse."

Katara and Sokka eyed my direction, but I simply shrugged.

"Oh, well ok. I'm glad you two are doing better."
"Then to Ba Sing Se we go. No more distractions!"
"Hello, fellow refugees!"
"Oh look, a distraction, and it looks like the universe is running a triple combo," I commented.

The blue eyed teenager glared at me before the trio came before us happily. After a little convincing from the refugees, we walked to the Full Moon Bay where Suki is. When we got there, I decided to read the diary to get some information while I wait.

The quick skim of the book was enough for me to figure the guy out. He was merely a friend of Avatar Roku when his abilities first start appearing. He was accepting of such a task as the Hantai at first until he confused his current self with his past life before he became one. He didn't know whether he was always born with it, or if it was given to him by the Sea Lion Turtle. That alone raised many questions, and overtime, he would find answers only to be bombarded with even more questions. While trying to swim out of the pattern, he lost his identity, and with that, his sanity.
