Everyone woke up as peaceful as they can be. All except me. All night, I've been reading scrolls from the last Hantai Sanctuary about the Golden Dragon along with trying to come to contact with Amberly like always. However, rather than seeing the usual darkness and bioluminescent crystals, I seen people around her with whips and chains. It's the first time I've scene the Dai-Li do this. Unconsciously, I woke up with a scream with hands running through the braids Sokka created on my head. Tears came out of my eyes, out of sadness and anger.

I didn't know my friends stormed in until I felt hands gently tugging my wrists away. However, my eyes are still closed.

"Jasmine, what's wrong?" Katara asked.

"It's the Dai-Li... they did it... th-they took it took it too far!"
"The Dai-Li? What did they do? Did they hurt Appa?"
"..."
"What did you say?"
"I'm gonna to end the Dai-Li and Long Feng!" I shouted opening my eyes.

Like they saw a ghost, everyone jumped back except Toph, who seems to love when I said that. Sokka then stepped forward cautiously. Why? I'm just expressing my feelings and letting them out like they told me to. Then I noticed my sight is much more sharper than usual. I can see everyone's face in precise detail and even things I don't know they have.

"What?"
"Your eyes."
"What about them?!" I snapped baring my teeth.

Katara formed a mirror out of water by freezing it and showed it to me. I scanned it, and gasped. I then picked at my eyelids. My pupils shrunk in width and sharpened at the top and bottom.

"I... what has happened to me? I'm a monster."
"No, sweetie. No one said that. We are just shocked, because your eyes never did that before. Come on," Sokka ushered me into his arms.

I'm still pissed off, but I complied. Katara and Aang hugged me from the sides. Toph awkwardly patted my back. Surrounded by family, I couldn't stay that angry. Sad? Of course, and still slightly pissed. My eyes twinged making me groan and rub my eyes where Sokka's shoulder is. I glanced at Aang and noticed my vision is back to normal. And by the expression on his face, he seen the difference.

"Jasmine, your eyes are back to normal. You must feel better."
"I'm still upset, but I couldn't be that upset with my family around me like this. It feels... nice."
"Want me to hold you while we make missing posters?"
'I would say don't bother, but it's the main part of the story.'
"Can you make me into a eggroll?" I asked pointing at my covers.

He chuckled at my childishness and nodded. Everyone was confused until I got on the bed and let Sokka gently roll me along with the cover until I'm encased in it. Then he picked me bridal style.

"I hope I'm not heavy."
"I've lifted heavier. Let's go to the living room."

I leaned my head on him and tried to go to sleep once again only to be plagued by those images again. I whimpered mentally feeling the pain Amberly is in along with the other dragon. Then, warmth enveloped me along with my dad's lullaby mixed with the one Sokka shared with me. Like lavender and chamomile, it calmed my mind and took it away into a pleasant dreams.

Time skip-->

I opened my eyes and shot up to the icy and fiery indications.

"The one time I actually want to sleep, huh?" I complained already straightening up my clothes.

"You're up! Thank goodness!" Aang screamed flying in.

"What's the emergency?"
"Well, you see, Jet is controlled and we've already tried everything we could to bring him out of it. We did at one point, but he is back to being controlled."
"So that is what it is? Even the talk about what the Fire Nation did to his home and parents?"
"Yep."
"Oh ffffff-fiddlesticks. Take me to him."
