CH Ten: Yelp Doesn't Exist Here For a Reason

'I never thought I would hate Ba Sing Se more than I do now.'

Allow me to tell how I hated it more than ever.

It started with the Judy with the creepypasta smile. She gave me Jeff the Killer vibes, so she freaked me out despite the "nice" tone.

Then she had the nerve to get my name wrong. It is Jas-mean, not Jas-min.

Then there went all the secrecy and guards watching us like hawks unless we are either in the shadows or in an building, and even then, I still feel watched unless I close the blinds of the house. And yes, when I passed some of them close by, I stared right back to provide the same energy they are giving us.

Poor people are treated like outcasts and meat shields for any intruders to bust in.

When we want to see the king, it is said to be processing... and we'll see him in a month. "More quickly than usual," she said. My Shein and Rowwe packages that I used to get come in more sooner than that!

And to have an icing on the cake, every time we ask something pertaining to either our friends or the fire nation, Judy would shake her head at the person to keep them shut.

Overall, the tour along with the tour guide sucks ass, and I would never recommend it. As soon as she left, I let it all out like a piping tea kettle. Katara patted my back to calm me down. It worked, but I'm still slightly angry. Doesn't help that the phone vibrated in the quiet atmosphere.

"Is it the black glowing box?"
"Phone, but yes. I haven't checked it since the drill. I'll check it before I go to bed."

As if agitated at the prolonged check-up, it vibrated yet again.

"Turns out it's right now," I sighed and took it out.

I wish I hadn't. Sokka peeked over my shoulder and saw the same thing. Countless messages from Alex about where I am from a different phone number. Sprinkle a few calls, and you can consider this guy as a stalker.

"Is that...?"
"My ex. I blocked him last time, and now he's back on another phone number. I don't know how he can reach me in a whole other dimension!"

Another call came. I shushed everyone and went to my shared room to answer the call mostly due to pent up anger I have from the tour. When he picked up, I had beat him to the punch.

"What the hell do you want?"
"Hey, bab-."
"Don't call me that. You lost that right a long time ago. Now what do you want? What happened to your little partner in crime?"
"She... Bailey left me after knowing I was dating. Ever since then, everyone has been using me."

I had to laugh at the amount of karma that had hit him ever since I was gone. What did he think was going to happen? A unicorn will come flying through his window with an anime girlfriend on it's back? A leprechaun will drop off a shit ton of cash?

"It's funny how all this shit doesn't go your way, and the first person you call in a desperate time is me."
"Look, I want you back. When you left, it's like my world came crashing down on me. I can't stop thinking about you, and what I did to you. I'm really sorry. Please come back to me," Alex whimpered through the phone like a lost puppy.

"No," I said simply.

"No?"

How did he think this call was going to go?

"You heard me. I found the one I want to be with. He's handsome, funny, intelligent, thoughtful, honest, trustworthy, and kind. If you think I'm gonna give that up for a manwhore like you, you must be more crazy than Azula, and that says something. Don't call this phone again."
