PART ONE ━━ SEASON ONE 003. trois
❝FIFTY BUCKS LUTHER STRIKES FIRST.❞
"What the date? The exact date."
"The 24th."
"Of what?"
"March."
"Good," Five said, the rest of the Umbrella academy plus Lyra awkwardly watched him walk around the kitchen.
"So, are we gonna talk about what just happened?" Lyra broke the silence.
Five ignored the woman and continued making his sandwiches.
"It's been 17 years," Luther stood up in frustration. Five scoffs.
"It's been a lot longer than that." He teleports to the shelves behind Luther.
"I haven't missed that," Luther mumbled.
"Where'd you go?" Lyra asked out of curiosity.
"The future," Five teleported back to the table, "It's shit by the way."
"Called it!" Klaus exclaimed.
"I should've listened to the old man," The boy sighed, "You know, jumping through space is one thing, jumping through time is a toss of the dice."
"Nice dress," Five complimented Klaus.
"It's mine," Allison and Lyra said in unison as Klaus said, "Oh, well, Danke!"
The two actresses looked at each other, Lyra raising her eyebrow and not noticing the man sitting next to her look at her.
"Wait," Vanya asked, "How did you get back?"
"In the end, I had to project my consciousness foward into a suspended quantum state version of myself that exists across every possible instance of time." Five explained. The rest of the academy was confused.
"That makes no sense," Luther said.
"Well, it would if you were smarter," Five replied, Lyra chuckled, making Five look at her.
Diego stood up only to be blocked by Luther's arm.
Five looked at the Hartridge woman, who was looking at him.
Lyra looked at the boy in suspicion but she didn't let it get to her.
Five took the knife he used to spread the peanut butter on his bread. He went to the sink and cleaned it. The rest of the siblings watching him in silence.
