❝WELL... TECHNICALLY YOU WOULDN'T BE SHOOTING A KID....❞

"Don't bother searching," Lyra folded her arms and looked at Five, "There's no coffee."

"Shit," Five mumbled, "What kind of house is this? We have this big house with 42 bedrooms and 19 bathrooms but not a single drop of coffee."

"Dad hated caffeine," Allison told him.

"Well he hated children, too, and he had plenty of us," Klaus laughed.

"I'm taking the car," Five decided.

"Where are you going?"

Five looked at Klaus.

"To get a decent cup of coffee."

"Can I come with?" Lyra asked him.

"Yeah sure," he replied.

"Do you even know how to drive?" Allison asks the man-child.

"I know how to do everything," He retorted, then he teleported.

"Oh shit, Five wait for me!"

𖤍

Ding, ding. Five presses on the bell. The two were getting coffee at a place named Griddy's doughnuts. A man walks into the shop and sits next to Five.

A blonde middle-aged woman in pink uniform walks up to the three.

"Sorry, sink was clogged," She chuckled.

"So, what'll it be?" She looked at the man.

"Uh, give me a chocolate éclair." The man ordered.

"Mm-hmm. Sure," She wrote down and looked at Lyra with a smile.

"Would your kid like a glass of milk or something?" She asked her with a smile.

Five scoffs, "The kid wants coffee. Black."

The waitress looked at Lyra with a smile, "Cute kid."

"Runs in the family," Lyra smiled back at the nice waitress, "Same for me please."

"Okay," She walked away from the three.

The three sat in awkward slience. Five constantly glancing at the man sitting on his left.

"Don't remember this place being such a shithole." Five broke the silence.

Well that's what happens when you spend forty-five years in the future. The model inwardly rolled her eyes.

"Used to come here as a kid, used to sneak out with my brothers and sisters and eat doughnuts 'till we puked," Five continued his story.

"Simpler times, huh?" He looked at the man.

"Eh... I suppose," He let out.

The waitress clears her throat, "Here," and handed each person their orders.

"I got his," Lyra told the waitress and gave her black card.

"Oh no you don't have to do–" Lyra cut him off.

"No it's fine," Lyra smiled at the man.

"You must know your way around the city," Five looked at the man's jacket.

"I hope so, I've been driving it for 20 years."

"Good. I need an address." Lyra sips her coffee, thinking about the events that had occurred not so long ago.

She didn't realise how much time had passed until she took a sip of her coffee, only to see that the mug was empty.

The man had already left the area so it was just Five and Lyra. Lyra wanted to ask the boy some questions but before she could, she felt eerie feeling from her body, only for dozens of men entering the shop with guns pointing at Five proving her right.

"Hmm. That was fast. I thought I had more time before they found me." Five said.

"Okay," One of the men said, "So let's all be professional about this, yeah?"

"On your feet and come with us. They want to talk."

"I've got nothing to say," Five shrugged.

"It doesn't have to go this way," The man told him. Lyra looked at the man and turned to look at Five.

"You think I want to shoot a kid? Go home with that on my conscience?" The man asked.

"Well... technically you wouldn't be shooting a kid..." Lyra said.

"And plus," Five added, "You don't have to worry about that," He turned to look at the man.

"'Cause you won't be going home."

Lyra took control of the man's arm and snapping it in half. Five teleported to the table behind two men standing in the middle of the store.

"Hey assholes!" He waved with a smile.

The men all pointed their guns at Five, bullets heading towards the boy, only for them to stop midway and turned towards the men and shot them instead.

"Shouldn't have come here," The model mumbled. She created a bunch of illusions of Five, all of them standing all over the store, making the men shoot up the whole shop.

The real Five, however had been teleporting to the men and punching and hitting them.

The illusions soon disappeared. Five finished off what he started. He picked up a glowing green device; a tracking device.

He sat down and started digging into his forearm with a knife. He took out a chip that was implanted in his arm. He handed it to the model and told her to destroy it, in which she did.

The two left the donut shop, leaving it disheveled and messy and not noticing the blonde waitress, who had been hiding in the counter the entire time.
