WINTER POV
I smiled as I stared down at his sleeping face. There was something delightful about seeing him sleep. His hair on his brow, the way his chest rose and fell as he breathed, and especially the way his arms wrapped around me as we both fell asleep together on the bed.
I never saw myself dating since I considered myself an independent woman who didn't need someone to complete me. I had a social life, a great profession, my own apartment, and the freedom to pursue my dreams. I knew that having a partner would just slow me down, so I didn't bother looking for one until I went to a coffee shop and saw Y/N.
-FLASHBACK-
There was something about the way he expressed himself the way his eyes focused as he looked at his computer, the way his lips curled slightly as he bit his lip. He was hunched in a corner, typing on his computer and scribbling notes in a notebook. The only sounds were the keyboard clacking and his humming.
I almost dropped my coffee as I walked to my seat, attempting but failing to look away from the man who had caught my attention. As I struggled to move my own stuff out and go to the SM Building for my training that needed to be done, my gaze was drawn to his form. My mind raced with thoughts as I examined what he may be typing. What was capturing my attention so intensely as his fingers rushed across the keyboard?
I sipped my morning coffee slowly, forgetting about the training I had to attend as I continued to stare at him. I'd never seen him here before, yet I'd been coming here most mornings for at least two years. What may have led him here? Dozens of questions raced through my thoughts, ones I didn't have time to ask since I needed to go to my training, but, oddly, I didn't care about any of them. I just wanted to find out more about him.
Y/N POV
As I stretched out and sipped my drink, I noticed a female stand in a hurry, her thigh slamming against the table, leading me to glance towards her. Her lips suddenly dried up, and her knees began to shake as I smiled at her, respectfully nodding to her before returning to your job.
"Hi! Sorry for disturbing you, but I'm just curious, what are you typing?" She asked, grabbing the table for support as she forced herself to sit down.
"A song." I answered, "I'm a songwriter."
"A songwriter..." She'd repeated the word slowly, shaking her head as the world began to spin around her as my eyes found her. Perfect brown orbs that expanded, capturing her in their glow. "Th..That's nice. "
I smiled at her then, a smile that could charm even the coldest heart, as I continued, "I compose mostly pop and hip-hop music, with some R&B on the side. But I'm having some trouble with one part of it. Can you take a look at it? If you're not too busy."
"Busy?" She stammered, struggling to keep herself from blushing as she shook her head. "No, no, no... I'm not busy at all!" Her hands shoved the paperwork and to-do lists aside as she made room. "I'll pull up a chair, and I'll take a look."
The smile I gave her was enough to shatter her completely and put her back together again, and she was thankful for the distraction as she began to read.
She'd fallen in love with my music the moment she read the lyrics at the coffee shop. She shyly gave me her phone number and departed after an hour of her providing suggestions and me listening to ideas and making modifications.
I called the next day, and our relationship began. She never missed one of our dates, which occasionally involved me offering her lines from my songs and asking her how to enhance them. She consumed my writing like an addict, finding comfort in the fantastic realms I created. In turn, I assisted her in her preparation to become an idol, providing her with whatever she required to make her training easier.
