Y/N POV

On the weekend, I decided to set up a party at our new house. Chaewon has been stressed out working recently, so I planned the party without informing her. I texted all of Chaewon's friends, inviting them to the party. They all agree and promise not to inform Chaewon.

I tell Chaewon about the party a day before it happens. I explained to her why I wanted to throw the party for her. I felt terrible for not telling her at first, and I was terrified of getting her response, but it turns out she agreed. Despite the fact that what she said was unhyped, I considered it a yes from her. We then went to the grocery store to get things for the weekend.

-TIMESKIP-

The weekend has arrived, and the party began as soon as guests arrived at the house. The music and drinks were being enjoyed by guests at the party. Guests start pouring through the doors every few minutes, and I didn't anticipate a hundred people to show up. As Chaewon contacted me, my phone rang.

"Come to the kitchen right now! We need to talk!" She shouted as the music played so loudly. I walked into the kitchen and saw that she was waiting for me angrily.

"Who told you it's okay to invite a hundred people to our house?" Chaewon glared at me.

Her blood was boiling from the spilled drinks and dirty dishes. The house resembled a dumpster, and Chaewon, being a tidy freak, would never tolerate it in our new home.

"Woah, back up there, I didn't invite a hundred people, I invited your friends only. They probably bring their plus one." I protested.

After the party was over, Chaewon and I stood there in front of all the mess created after the party. She began to pick up all the paper plates and cups.

"What are you waiting for? Start cleaning!" Chaewon yelled at me quite angrily.

"Baby... I'm sorry! I thought you would like it if people visited us..." I apologised and bowed my head.

Her temper cooled down a bit. That's her weakness. She can't stay angry for long, especially with her boyfriend. I nodded, and both of us started cleaning.

Hello Chaewon-ah....

Hmm...

Woah, what happened? Is something going on? Are you okay?

Chaewon thought about whether she should tell her about the party I decided to hold out for her. Nah, not really, everything's good. What about you?

I'm coming to your house today! Her sister exclaimed.

Her face became more stressed with the pressure from the sudden call from her sister.

You see, I'm here for a business trip! So I decided to be a good Unnie and visit you! I'll be there by around 10 P.M., so make something good for dinner, okay?

Yeah, sure, goodbye.

She cut the call abruptly and looked at the time. The clock shows it is nearly 8 P.M. She started to panic. Her house was a mess and would take about 3 days to clean up, and her sister was coming today.

"You look stressed," I said, coming up to her.

"My sister is coming. Today, by 10 o'clock. Only if someone didn't host a party, I would've been okay." Chaewon would've laughed at my expression if she wasn't so anxious at the moment.

"Let's start cleaning then, okay? Hahaha...." I chuckled nervously.

Both of us rushed to tidy up the house. Chaewon started mopping the floor while I cleaned all the trash.

"AAH-" Chaewon suddenly slipped and fell down. If she got a dollar for all the times she was clumsy, she would've been a billionaire by now. I helped her sit down on the sofa.

"I'll bring the first-aid kit," I said, rushing to the cupboard.

"No. Just clean up everything. We don't have much time, and if my sister finds out these..."

"But you're hurt," I said back to her.

"I'm not!" She stood up only to fall back on the sofa as pain shot through her foot.

"See?" I mumbled. "I'll clean everything myself. You just stay there and don't move."

Chaewon nodded and let me do all the work. She rested, watching me do all the cleaning and prepare dinner. She felt really guilty for being rude to me.

I was done with cleaning up, and the house looked normal again. She decided to apologise to me. She felt guilty that I did so much work while she just sat there and ate Doritos. I plopped down beside her, putting my head on her shoulder.

"I'm sorry, Jagi... I shouldn't have been so rude to you." She caressed my head.

"It's okay, babe." I smiled and looked up at her.

"Can I ask you something?" I ask her. She hummed in response, playing with my silk-like hair.

"You looked pretty tired. I thought a party would cheer you up. That's why I invited your friends. But you seemed even more stressed. Whenever I'm down, I just have a blast cheering myself up. But it didn't work for you? "

She chuckled. "A party? That is stressful. How can you not be tired after throwing a party?"

I thought about it, "Well, you talk to other people at work and have fun socialising at a party."

She shakes her head. "Socialising? It sounds exhausting. "

"I should really try to get to know you more. We're a lot different!" I said this while holding her hand. She smiled.

"Oh! I almost forgot! I'll bring something for your ankle." I was concerned about her, and she couldn't help but grin widely at how caring I was. After putting a bandage on her ankle, I went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Chaewon's sister will probably be here in a while.

*Ring ring!*

"Your sister again?" I asked as she picked up her phone. She nodded and put the phone on speaker.

Hey, Chaewon-ah...

Hey... Did your boss scold you again? You sound dull.

No, it's just... I will not be able to visit you today. My boss said we had to work overtime.

Chaewon's jaw dropped. Me and Chaewon did so much work cleaning up just for her sister to visit her, and now she's not even coming.

I'll come tomorrow! Bye! Her tone suddenly changed from sad to cheerful. Chaewon cut the call off and looked at me with a poker face.

I just laughed. "Murphy's Law?" She answers with her poker face, "Totally."

"Let's watch some drama on the couch." I wrapped my arm around her and switchedon the television. You both snuggled on the sofa, fell asleep while watchingTV, and awoke the next morning.
