Amelie had explained everything to Carlisle the day before. She was late to school on Monday and found Rosalie already seated at their desk. Amelie had grown a form of mutual respect for the girl and though Rosalie never verbalized it she respected Amelie too but neither Amelie or Rosalie would call the other a friend.

Amelie threw herself down onto the seat next to Rosalie and opened her books.

"What are we going to do Rose?" She asked.

Rose looked at her with a straight face, "There's nothing we can do. Carlisle is letting Edward make his own decision on whether or not to tell her. Why can't you control that sister of yours?"

Amelie scoffed, "How about you try?"

"Well, Edward is obsessed with her."

"Like how obsessed?" Amelie asked cautiously.

"Did you know that he goes to your house and watched her sleep every night?"

"What!"

Many of the students and the teacher turned to look at them.

"He does what?" Amelie whispered, horrified.

"It's totally disgusting."

"It's not even you house. But if it's any consultation, Bella seems just as obsessed him too." She muttered.

"They're going to get us all killed if their not careful." Rosalie said.

"Agreed."

Amelie jumped around her house after school while she awaited her sister's arrival. She would look towards the door at every noise or commotion in anticipation of Bella entering.

It was after six o'clock when Bella finally did walk through the front door but Bella didn't acknowledge her, she just walk past her and up the stairs to her bedroom.

"Bella!" Amelie yelled, "where the hell have you been? I was worried sick! I thought you'd gotten eaten!"

There was no reply from Bella. Amelie was fuming and she could feel the pulsing that was always inside her, grow and swell as she got angrier and angrier at her sister.

"Bella?" Amelie followed her sister up the stairs and into Bellas bedroom. She stood at the doorway for a few second while she watched her sister. Bella was looking out the window, she looked dazed and confused. Suddenly she turned around to face Amelie and said in a soft voice that was almost a whisper, "I love him."

"What?"

"I'm in love with a vampire." Bella repeated.

"Bella, you can't love him, you barley even know him."

"I am."

Amelie walked to her room and slammed the door. She screamed into her pillow as she fell onto her bed. She almost chuckled at how foolish she was. She wasn't upset with her sister for wanting to date a vampire. Hell, Amelie was a nymph who made friends with werewolves and vampires. But how was it possible for Bella to already be in love with a boy she didn't know? Amelie's lack of confidence in Edward's control upset her more than anything else. Amelie wasn't happy about having the constant image of her sisters blood-drained body in the back of her mind.

Due to Edward leaving early to pick up his new girlfriend, Jessica gave Amelie a ride to school the following morning. Amelie virtually leapt out of the car when they arrived at the school's parking lot and ran straight for the Cullen family, who were all gathered in Rosales red convertible while they waited for Edward and Bella. She showed up but none of the Cullen's appeared perturbed. Amelie wasn't sure, but it's possible that it was because they were all supernatural beings.
