A/N: Hello Everyone! I'm back and I don't have a broken hand anymore! I'm only going to post once a week from now one but I will post two chapters this week to make up for my absence. This book is nearly over and I know that there is definitely two more coming. Have a wonderful day and week. And happy holidays for those in school! -Han

A thunderstorm had rolled around to Forks the next week and the Cullen's invited Bella and Amelie to play baseball with them. Amelie had no idea why vampires wanted to play baseball but she said yes to their invitation anyway. On Sunday she was dresses in runners and a hoodie while she waited for Edward to pick her sister and her up.

Amelie sat reading while Charlie leant on his shotgun. Bella walked over and handed Charlie a beer. She took this opportunity to tell him where they were going.

"So," She began, " I have a date, with Edward Cullen." Charlie looked up at her and she hurried on when she saw the look on his face," Well sort of... they asked Amelie if she wanted to come as well."

Charlie turned to look at Amelie who didn't meet her fathers gaze.

"Aren't you a little young for him?" Charlie asked Bella.

"Dad. He's a junior and I'm a junior. I thought you liked the Cullen's."

"I thought you didn't like any boys in town." Charlie retorted.

"Edward doesn't live in town. Technically." Bella explained.

Amelie shot a look at Bella to to tell her to shut up.

"He's right outside." Bella said, ignoring Amelie's face.

"He is?"

"He wanted to meet you officially."

Charlie looked at Bella and then Amelie who finally looked up to meet his gaze.

"And what do you think about him?" Charlie asked Amelie.

Amelie shrugged not wanting to take any side or say anything that might incriminate her.

The was no doubt that this was not the answer that Charlie was looking for. She knew that he wanted her to say something along the lines of, "He's a horrible boy and Bella should definitely not be dating him.", but eventually he let his face drop and he sighed.

"Fine, bring him in." He told Bella.

Bella grimaced, "Could you be nice, please. He's important."

Bella went to fetch Edward while Charlie and Amelie exchanged looks. When Edward rounded the corner they both looked a little nervous.

"Chief Swan, i would like to formally introduce myself. I'm Edward Cullen, here to take the girls for a game of Baseball with my family." He said to Charlie.

Charlie raised his eyebrows, "Baseball?"

"Well that's the plan."

"Good luck with Bella."

"I'll take good care of her," Edward said, "Both of them, I promise."

Bella signaled to Amelie and she followed the two of them outside. Edward and Bella got into the front seats of what Amelie recognized to be Emmett's jeep so she hopped into the back.

"So, Edward. Baseball, rally?" Amelie asked as they rumbled down a road she didn't recognize.

"Well, it's the American pastime and there's a thunderstorm. It's the only time we can play, you'll see why." Edward said looking at her in the back view mirror.

They reached a field and Amelie saw all of the Cullen's messing around in it. As soon as they had walked over the field and reached the family Esme grabbed the girl and pulled them to the side.
