Yes I'm finally writing a quest chapter. Sorry if you find it insulting and crappy it's my first time sooooo here goes nothing! :D
Katie got down to the ground to find the forest changing colors really strangely. The leaves were green, then yellow, then...PINK?! "Travis are you seeing this" gasped Katie. "Maybe we should get to Chiron" suggested Travis. Katie then took off in a mad dash with a concerned Travis behind her.
"Chiron! Something's wrong" said Katie breathing very heavily. "The trees and plants are changing color and then dying I know" frowned Chiron. Then out of no where a small explosion went off followed by a scream. Katie knew exactly where that was coming from. She took off to the strawberry fields. "Katherine!" Called Chiron then galloping after her with Travis as well.
Katie arrived to the fields to find Miranda covered in some type of orange liquid and her hand burnt. "Holy crap Miranda what happened" said Katie panicked. "One minute I was picking strawberries. Then they started to turn orange and then boom! It exploded in my hand." said Miranda with a pale face. "Katie you know what to do" nodded Chiron. Katie ran into the green house, opened one of the hatches and set off fire works that were some how visible in the day time as if set off at night.
"What was that for" asked Travis. "Here comes the rest" smiled Miranda. Then all the children of Demeter came to the green house. "Katie what's wrong" asked her younger brother Mac. "Something is wrong with Demeter" frowned Katie.
Later that night
"Alright everyone good night" said Katie with a tired smile. "Night" responded the rest of her cabin mates. She nodded and turned to her bedroom door, closing the door behind her. Katie knew someone was going to get a dream tonight. Demeter never worked with the Oracle she always worked through dreams. Katie then heard a knock at her window. She turned to her right to see a peeping son of Hermes.
Katie walked over and opened up the window. "Kates what is going on" he asked sounding a bit scared. "Travis it's fine, I can handle it. Plus your not a son of Demeter so it doesn't concern you" said Katie flatly. "Oh come on Katie please tell me" pleaded Travis. "Look Mr. Autolycus you-" "Actually Autolycus is my godly brother and one of dad's favorites" smirked Travis. "Travis thank you for helping but until I find out more you can just go" said Katie sharply not liking how she was treating Travis. "Can I at least get a good night kiss" whined Travis. Katie smiled and rolled her eyes. "Fine" she said giving him a quick peck. "That's all" frowned Travis. Katie shook her head and closed her bedroom window.
Finally Travis walked away. Katie let out a sigh and got into her bed. She turned off her lamp dreading what was to come.
"Katherine Gardner" asked a soft yet strong voice. Katie turned around to find her self face to face with her godly sister. Katie bowed in respect. "Hello Persephone" said Katie in a brave voice. "Katie we meet again" smiled the flower goddess. "What has happened to mother" asked Katie worriedly. "We don't know, but Hermes did tell me that the big six got into a fight" frowned Persephone. "Even Hestia" asked Katie. "Look we haven't much time. All I know is once the fight ended the all went off. Zeus and Hera stayed on Olympus, Poseidon back to his kingdom, my dear husband the same. Hestia and Demeter went separate directions and no one has seen them since!" said Persephone rapidly. "What do I do" asked Katie. "Take two other demigods with you. Our only clue is that Hestia has left some clue near the fire pit" sighed Persephone. "Where" asked Katie concerned. But then she woke up.
So yeah I know this chapter is crappy don't have to leave a hate comment saying so. But anyway at least I updated so yea. bye
