Katie POV
"So today everyone will be doing combat training" I announced at breakfast. "All except for Rose, Vivian, and I" I continued. "But why" asked little six year old Vivian. "Because Katie said so" helped my older sister Rose.
Vivian was currently one of the youngest claimed campers at CHB. But because of that she will be staying here when Kronos attacks. All campers 9 and under stay here at camp when forces such as Kronos attacks. It's one of Hera's rules which though she has no children here wished to be forced and so it is.
Which in some peoples eyes is a load of bull and in others like mine is an omen from a harsh goddess such as herself. And even though she isn't fighting I still want her ready for anything just incase Rose or I would to die in battle she would know how to use her powers
After lunch Rose, Vivian and I headed for the forest to practice. "Vivian we are going to work on our gift" said Rose softly. "Yes Rosie" replied the brunet.
"I'll start" I announced walking over to a tree with some vines attached to it. I lifted my right hand a little bit. Then clenching my hand into a fist. Then on command the roots of the tree started to bulge in size and lifted from under the ground.
I raised my hand even higher the vines then multiplied and wrapped them selves around the uprooted roots. "So easy" giggled Rose.
Rose walked to where I was and I walked over to where Vivian was.
Rose raised both her hands and branches jetted from another tree near by. She twisted one of her hands slightly and the branches formed a wall.
"Oh my turn" chimed Vivian with a grand smile. Vivian ran next to Rose. Vivian then stomped her foot and poppies appeared around the two and climbed the wall of twisted branches.
Vivian and Rose then fell to the ground asleep. I sighed. "Last time you watch Wizard of Oz" I said. I raised my hands and from another set of roots created a small house over my two sleeping sisters.
"They'll be out for an hour" I said then walking away from them. I walked even further into the woods where the shrubbery and what not was thicker.
I clenched my fist and a vine ladder. I grabbed on as the ladder then lifted from the ground and got me to the tree house.
Right as I was about to walk in a felt as someone was behind me. "What's up" said a too familiar voice. I turned around faster then lightning to be face to face with Travis Stoll.
"Travis" I sighed putting a hand on my hip. "Let me in before these shoes drop me" he said. I shook my head and walked into the tree house. "Thanks he said following behind me.
Weird ending I know...sorry :3 Anyway I hope y'all enjoyed this chapter! thought I should update. So yah bye! Omg! I thought this had uploaded and it didn't im soooo sorry
