Katie POV
"Christopher" I called to my oldest brother. "Yah" said the ginger. "You, Aaron, Jay, and Jacob are not working in the fields today. I want you training all this week instead" I instructed. "Why" asked Jacob. "None of your business" I snapped. "Okay okay well train" said Christopher.
I then walked into my room. (Councilors get their own room) Truth was Kronos was coming and soon. The councilors had a meeting four months ago about doing more training. Out of us 12 kids I have the four boys training more indefinitely. (Don't take that in a sexist way please) Even though I wasn't the oldest I was still councilor. Christopher and Jay are 18 and Lily and Rose were 17.
Rose, Vivian my youngest sibling and myself are the only ones that can control plants.
"Time for activities" I said. "We're going" said Aaron who had his sword in his hand. I was the last to be out so I closed the door.
Out In The Fields
We had been working in the " fields for about an hour now. "Ugh. Katie can I talk to you about something" asked my sister Miranda. "If it's to do more work. Then yes" I said not looking up from the strawberries I was growing. "Katie! Please jus talk to me. You've been like that ever since that meeting four months ago" she said.
I stood up and faced the 15 year old strawberry blonde. "Miranda what's wrong" I said picking up my basket of strawberries. "Can you put the freaking berries down. And TALK TO ME" she yelled. "Miranda I- "Katie you need to get to the cabin immediately" said my brother Jay. Miranda and I chased after him.
At The Cabin
"WHAT THE F-" Jay put his hand over my mouth so I couldn't finish my sentence. "You like it" said a voice from the trees above the cabin. The Demeter cabin was covered in paint splatters, fireworks that haven't been set off yet. "STOLL" I screamed looking up. "Yes" he said giving his infamous grin.
"This" I said clenching my hand in a fist making the branch he was sitting on bend down. "Woah" he yelled failing. I caught him with a branch that lowered him to the ground. I then made a root hold his feet in place so he wouldn't be going anywhere.
"What the heck Stoll" I said. "Seriously Travis" said Jay. "The third time this month" I said furiously. I then let him go. "See yah Travis" said Jay who had his sword raised. "Later" he said speeding away with his head down. "I swear if any one ever dates a Stoll the better be crazy. Now Miranda what were you gonna say" I said turning to Miranda. "Uh nothing" she said softly then walking back to the fields.
