Katie POV
I cannot go on a quest! I mean I can but with who? What do I do? I've never been on a quest. Only fought in a war and- "Katie! Is everything okay?" asked someone knocking at my door. I jumped out of my bed and walked to my door and opened it. "What time is it?" I asked. "Lunch time." said Miranda. "Why didn't you wake me up?" I asked slamming the door in my sisters face.
I raced and got ready in five minutes and rushed out of the cabin. How did I over sleep that much? Ugh! I need to figure out what to do. Where did she say I needed to go again...the fire pit! I raced to the center of camp to find it surrounded by loads of campers. "What's going on?" I asked. "Look at the hearth." said Brendan son of Aphrodite. I looked at the hearth to see a floating leaf half burned. "What in Hades?" I asked pushing my way through the crowd to find Travis at the front of it all.
"Travis what is going on?" I asked. "I had a dream last night about something and to come here." whispered Travis. "I think I had that same dream." I whispered back squeezing his hand. "Campers! Campers! Back away from the hearth!" ordered Dionysus. Mr. D spotted Travis and I and motioned for us to join him. "Demigods please return to your afternoon activities!" announced Chiron soon followed by the dispersing of campers.
"You two know something we don't." observed Mr. D. "We both had a dream last night. Persephone came to me in mine telling me of a fight that took place on Olympus and that may be why all is like it is." I explained. "And the hearth has- "We were both told our first clue or whatever would be at the hearth." said Travis cutting off Chiron. "Well it seems you two have a quest. Remember you need one other person." concluded Mr. D walking out of the room of the Big House.
