Travis POV
"So let me get this straight. You and Gardner?" said Conner. "We're not going out" I sighed. "Okay okay" said Conner walking over to his bed."Just friends" I clarified.
"Friends with benefits" said Conner obviously not letting this subject end. "DUDE! Seriously stop" I said. "I mean haven't y'all been "friends" since she got here when she was eleven" asked Conner grinning ear to ear. "Yah" I said getting up from my bed to go make sure all the other campers were alseep.
"Come on Travis. I may be only that younger brother to you but you've liked her since you were fourteen your sixteen now" said Conner. "Your point is" I said reaching for the door handle. "The point is- "Hold on Conner let me go make sure everyone is where they need to be" I said opening our bedroom door.
I walked out to the main room of the cabin to check to make sure everyone was accounted for. I checked all Hermes children's beds and the unclaimed's beds. I tip toed back to mine and Conner's room. I walked in and closed the door behind me.
"You were saying" I said walking over to my bed exausted. "I mean come on. Two years of starring at Katie with googly eyes hoping by JUST annoying her will get her to like you. It didn't work like that with Miranda and I didn't even wait a whole three years to FINALLY ask her" he bragged.
"Conner, Miranda only came during the middle of the year" I sighed obviously tired. "Trav- "Night Conner" I said turning out the lamp and falling asleep.
