My eyelids felt like there was a ton off bricks resting on them as I fought to keep my eyes open in the brightness of the spring morning. I felt my eyes groggily open and lock onto Bonnie's smiling down at me. Startled, I jumped up from my bed and Bonnie responded by laughing her little heart out.

"You gave me a fright!" I brushed myself off and stood up beside Bonnie who's curls were similar to a sheep's thick wool as it glowed in the morning shine.

"Huh? What does that mean?" She tilted her head and raised her thin, blonde eyebrow. Obviously she didn't have the same type of education when it came to language.

"It means you scared the shit out of me." I dumbed my phrase down for her and she seemed to understand."

"Alrighty! Come on, we are going to be late." She took a hold of my hand that was still affected by an attack of 'pins and needles' after my very uncomfortable sleep in my hammock.

"Late for what?" I asked as she enthusiastically skipped with the excitement of a puppy dog.

"For the sacrifice of course!" Oh shit, I thought.

The gun poked his back as he balanced on a small wooden plank that dangled from the bow of bumblebee. One wrong step would leave him stranded in the depths of the ocean. Tied together in a bow, his limbs were wrung together and prevented him from from escaping his ill fate.

"What's going on?" I whispered but Scarlet's voice overpowered mine.

"Tell us where the jewel is." Her voice boomed like a gunshot as she held her gun against his shaky body. A flame flickered in scarlet's furious gave as she pushed him further and further dangling over the abyss of the ocean that swashed like a portal leading to his doom.

"I told you, Izzy. It's a sacrifice. I haven't seen one of these in months." Bonnie chirped with her pirate spirit.

"By making him walk the plank? A bit cliche.." I watched as Seb folded in half as he almost fell head first into the ocean that would swallow him whole the second he plunged into the depths of the water.

"You don't scare me. Shoot me, try. I'm not going to tell you." The man shook his head defiantly and this only angered scarlet.

"Just look into the water, matey. See anything?"

Peering into the ocean, he crumpled his nose and squinted to get a better view. The shimmer of a pearly white tooth glimmered from beneath the waves and reflected from the sun that had risen in the clear sky where pink and orange hues dripped like ice cream as the sun warmed us up. A grey fin poked out like a knife and cut through the water and almost immediately poked back in the water.

"You've gotta be joking." His eyes fixed on the fin that trailed through the water and he swallowed his fear.

"Not joking since no one is laughing; they will be the second you hit that water." She stomped her foot and out burst a chorus of nervous laughter to please Scarlet.

"No matter what you do, I won't tell you." He bowed his head, hiding his beautiful face behind his thick curls. I had a random urge to pull him off the plank and shove Scarlet into the water but I refrained mainly because I knew Scarlet would overpower me.

"If you wanna play it that way. Have a nice swim!" She bellowed, jabbing him to the very edge of the plank. Squealing similarly to a piglet, Seb frantically groped the air as he tried to find his balance.

"Stop!" I yelled, sprinting toward the plank but being stopped by Scorpia's grasp.

"FUCKING HELL I'LL TELL YOU. THEY HAVE GONE TO HOLLAND. THAT'S WHERE THE KEY TO THE JEWEL IS. I DONT KNOW WHERE BUT THATS WHERE THEY HAVE HEADED." His voice was an unpleasant shrill drilling into my ears. I knew Scarlet would be pleased with his answer.

"I knew you weren't loyal. Take notes, Isobel." She glowered to me. She knew. "Enchanta! Turn this ship around. We are going to Holland."
