Our ship docked at the old port of a small village off the coast of southern Spain. I had never been to another country and I barely noticed the gradual heating of the air until we reached dry land.

Scorpia escorted me onto the dock and I almost cried with happiness at the sight of dry land. I started to bend down to hug the ground but Scorpia took my arm and lifted me back up harshly.

"Stop that, you will look out of place. Just walk behind me and act natural. We have to split up."

Scarlet got us all to line up and assessed each of us. "Trinity, Tiger, Karla and I will be together. Scorpia, Izzy, Bonnie and Raven will be the other group. I'm sure you can handle that can't you Scorp? Enchanta will stay here and guard the ship."

Bonnie and Raven quietly shuffled over to us in silence. I was inquisitive to find out what we were actually doing here. Were we going to plunder and pillage? For sound reason my mind doubted it. These girls didn't seem capable of that.

"What are we even doing he-" I started but Scorpia cut in my question greatly.

"This isn't the time for questions. You'll figure out in good time, princess. Let's move out, girls."

Bonnie and Raven nodded and trailed behind Scorpia who was already speeding down the dock like the leader she was. Sighing, I followed the trio along the Spanish docks.

I was in total awe as we passed through unfamiliar streets filled with unfamiliar people. The golden sun was a shining medallion in the sky than cast a glowing glaze on the cobblestone streets and brick houses. As we passed through the streets, I weaved between the crowds of busy people coming and leaving the markets. We reached the market area and many of stalls caught my eye. Singing a catchy tune, a group of 3 men dressed in white stood proudly next to their show stopping fish they had caught themselves. It was clear they were selling the fish as food. It's unpleasant smell clogged my nostrils, causing me to turn away to face another stall.

A woman stood by her stalls waggling bangles with intricate designs in people's faces to get them to buy some.

"Can I buy one?" I rushed over to Scorpia who looked like she had somewhere to be. She tilted her head as I desperately pleaded like a child who wanted a new toy.

"Anything for you, princess." I grinned, I had always wanted a bangle but my father hated them. I admittedly felt a little rebellious in that moment. Scorpia slowly approached the table and delicately picked up a bangle. When the woman was preoccupied with another customer, she stuffed it up her sleeve and grinned a cunning smile as she rejoined the rest of the group.

"Here you are. A gift from me to you" She retrieved the bangle from her sleeve and took my wrist in her hand whilst pushing the bangle up my wrist. It was a deep maroon colour with golden swirls and stars engraved on the surface.

"I don't know what I expected. Thank you, Scorpia." I stared up at her bashfully and her eyes twinkled with excitement. However after a moment her expression changed.

"Mateys? Where has Bonnie gone?" Our eyes scanned the stalls but she was no where to be seen.

"I haven't seen her." I admitted, feeling like little help.

"BONNIE! WHERE ARE YOU!" Scorpia screamed in a panicky voice. Scorpia turned to face the stalls. Silently, Raven tugged on her arm and pointed to where Bonnie was. She had gotten distracted a stall that sold a variety of crystals ranging from rose quartz to glimmering emeralds and diamonds that had clearly caught her attention.

"Scorpia! It's a diamond!" Bonnie scooped up the medium sized diamond in her arm and cradled the diamond as if it were her own child.

"¡No hagas eso! Ponerlo a NUEVO." A voice called from behind the stall and Bonnie stared at the woman blankly until she snatched it from her hands and put it back on the stall.
