Trigger Warning Panic Attack

As soon as I wake up pain shoots through my whole body.I blink and see Mindy hovering over me .
Mindy-Your awake
Luna-Thanks for letting me know
Mindy-Don't sweat it
We both stare at each other in a deathly silence when we burst into laughter.My rib cage aching
Mindy-Your so high right now
Luna-Im so high right now.The skies are more bluer.The sun is shining brighter
Mindy-Babe were inside
Luna-really i didn't notice
Mindy-Yea i did
I chuckle as I hold my side.
Mindy-Hey want me to call Chad in
Luna-Uh yeah sure
She walks out quickly and replaces Chad.His face in a sad smile as he looks at my tired face.He rushes over and hugs me tight.
Chad-Are you okay.
Tears cloud my eyes but I blink them back smiling not trying to bring down this persona I have going on.
Luna-Does it look like im okay
Chad-Honestly No
I hit him gently with my hurt arm causing me to wince in.Holy cow that hurt like a bitch! Chad looks terrified as if he did it.I shake my head trying to reassure him

Chad-No i should've been at  the house with you like you asked
Luna-You just would've been in the same situation me and Tara are in.Wait Tara Is she okay
Chad-She's in the other room with everyone else
I release a sigh of relief as the balloon in my chest finally pops.
Luna-Oh thank god.When can I get out of here
Chad-They said later today I think.Tara has to stay a little longer

Luna-Please this bed sucks
Chad grabs my good arm and hoists me up slightly carrying me.He places me in the wheelchair and wheels me into a room where all my friends are.Wes,Mindy,Tara, and... Liv.The whole room erupts with noise as soon as they spot me but i'm focused on something else.Chad makes his way over to Liv and  gingerly kisses her and my heart shatters.Why couldn't that be me.Liv is the one he wants.It's never me.I look back to the crowd in the room and put on a smile for every body even though I'm dying on the inside.It's like that for a minute when Sam walks in the room.I stay in shock.Sam left Woodsboro how long ago and now she's just suddenly back.This doesn't make sense my head is starting to hurt.
Sam-Hey Luna
Luna-Hi how are you?
Sam-I'm good you?
Luna-I'm in a wheelchair
Mindy snickers and Chad slightly knees her in the stomach
Mindy-Oww
Amber-Uh, look guys Tara's really tired maybe we should just give her some space
Chad-Yeah Yeah
Chad wraps his arm around Liv as I'm wheeled out of the room he makes his way over to us with Liv hand in hand
Chad-Do you want me to pick you up later
Luna-No it's fine I was just going to head back up to the house anyway
Chad-Your parents home ?
Luna-Uh no they'll be back in like a month they had this retreat they had to go on

Chad-So who's staying with you
Luna-Um no one
Amber-What! Hell no you're not, we're not just gonna leave you alone in that house with a killer on the loose!
Chad-I second that.
Wes-Third !
Luna-Guys it's honestly fine!You don't need to worry about me
Chad-You can stay with me and Mindy I'm sure mom will be cool with it
Liv wiggles out of his arms and looks at him enraged
Chad-Nevermind
Wes-You can stay with me it's fine I'll call my mom and let her know
Luna-Wait but-
Wes-No buts it's settled Chad will pick you up and drop you off at my house
I let out a sigh
Luna-Whatever can someone take me back to my room I'm tired
Mindy-Oh yeah sure
She grabs ahold of my chair and wheels me back into my dingy hospital room where the lights barely even work.I hoist myself onto the bed and get comfortable while Mindy just watches waiting for the OK so that she can leave when i see my hands are shaking hard God im just hoping Min doesn't notice.This can't be happening not now not again
Luna-Thanks,you coming with Chad later?
Mindy-Maybe we'll see
Mindy smiles, giving me a wink while she leaves me in the room.I turn on the TV and watch a random movie called The Darkest Minds.A woman who I don't recognize pops in making me jump.
Woods-Hey no need to worry I'm Doctor Woods just came to check up on you
Luna-Oh um ok
Dr woods makes her way to my bedside while I pause the movie she checks her chart and does a few things she heads for the door but i stop her
Luna-Wait...Will I be able to dance again
Her face softens ever so slightly giving me slight reassurance
Dr.Woods-If you take some time off we'll see
Luna-But there's a chance I can though right
Dr.Woods-If the work is put in of course
I smile as she leaves the room and continue to watch the movie .When the credits finally roll after about maybe 2 hours, I realize that my hands are shaking still,a pain in my heart starts to radiate and I hurriedly  try to turn off the TV but I accidentally just change the chanel .I sit there while another movie starts until I can't take it anymore.Hot tears fall down my face slow but steadily.I gasp,the air leaving my lungs so suddenly.I look around the room frantically to see no one there..Another familiar pain in my heart shoots out and I gasp again.Oh god why can't I breath my chest won't stop throbbing.I need to stop shaking I'm being a baby.This is stupid.This is so stupid.Am I having a heart attack or something.How im only 18.Oh no I can't be dying I just dodged death less than a 2 days ago.I curl up into a ball and start to sob hard.Oh god why was this happening right now Jesus! Chad is gonna be here any second now. I can't let him see me like this. I told him that I didn't get them anymore.Nothing feels real anymore why doesn't anything feel real anymore!!!The door opens and i'm just praying it's not who I think it is
Chad-Hey you ready to g-
Hey stops in his tracks when he sees me.Oh no why me.Why'd he have to come in right now out of all times! He gently approaches me and sits down on the bed

I shakily let out a breath not being able to talk anymore.He quickly nods

Luna-People talk- talking outside,the tv playing and your your voice
Chad-Yeah  you can hear my voice  that's good 2 more to go ok what can you smell
Luna-Um um
More tears fall down my eyes as i get more and more frustrated
Luna-Your cologne
Chad-Yeah its its the one you absolutely hate right
I laugh a little of the worry leaving my body
Chad-Yeah ok one more thing you can smell
Luna-The soap
Chad-Yeah it smells like shit right
No I giggle again and rest my face
Chad-Last one ok Last one one thing you can taste
Luna-Um the the strawberry mint gum you gave me earlier
Chad-Thats Good Lun You feeling better now
My heart finally stops beating out of my chest, I look around to see the room has stopped spinning and I can breathe again.I swallow as my throat is dry and I quickly wipe  the tears from my eyes.
Luna-Yeah um i'm fine
Chad-Okay...grab your stuff so we can head over to wes's i'll be outside if you need me
He rubs my hand once more and slowly leaves the room trying not to startle me. I slowly get up and walk to the bathroom and quickly change.I grab my stuff and pick up my bags from the corner and meet Chad in the hospital lobby.But all I can think about is that this is going to be one awkward car ride
