And right I was.The car was dead silent except for the radio playing SZA over and over which I honestly didn't mind. I love SZA but I still wish he would talk.I go to grab my phone when he suddenly lowers the radio volume .

I reach over and turn it back up

Chad completely turns of the radio this time and stops the car

But not in the way you think. He grabs ahold of   my hand and rubs it while he starts the engine.We continue to drive until we get to the hicks house

I open the door and step out of the car abruptly ending the conversation

Chad chuckles as he starts his engine and drives off.I walk up to the doorstep of the house and ring the bell .The door bustles open and reveals Sherif Hicks not in uniform a image now burned into my memory

I grab my bags and make my way up the
wooden stairs.I'm led to a room right next to Wes's.He dumps my bags on the bed
Wes-Here you go dinners in 30
Luna-Thanks but i'm not hungry
Wes-Okay night I guess
Wes leaves the room leaving me alone.I lay down on the bed and try to trick myself into sleep but it's not working.I check my phone and it's already 3:00.I Everytime i close my eyes all I see is ghostface and my stab wounds start to throb. I open my eyes a little shaken by the sight.I grab my phone again and scroll through TikTok because it's the only thing i can do.Only when the sun comes up do I realize I've been awake way too long.It's like I wanted to go to bed but I couldn't.I hear rustling downstairs.Of course Sheriff Hicks would be up at 7 in the morning.I strip off my clothes and change into an oversized Blackmore University sweatshirt.(I got accepted on a dance scholarship and early decision).I paired it with some light blue sweats I had and headed downstairs to the grinning Judy Hicks.
'Good Morning' she sang while flipping a pancake on the stove.
I gave her a wry smile and sat down on the marble kitchen island.Wes comes down on his phone and Judy gives him a slight glance.
Wes-Sorry
He looks at me flashing a smile when his face drops concerned
Wes-You look exhausted
I frown a little
Luna-I just need coffee I'm fine
He looks at me sideways, but puts it off, thankfully. I get up and head to the door.
Luna-hey I'm going over to my house real quick I need to pick up my car then I might head over to Mindys
Wes-Want me to come with you?
Luna-no it's fine I'll see you later
I quickly walk out, and walk down the street to my house. I look under the rug and find my house key. I should really start to hide it. I open the door and make my way into the kitchen drawer. I fish out my key and start to leave when my phone starts to buzz.
GhostFace-Hi Luna
I go rigid and my body freezes.
Luna-What the fuck do you want
GhostFace-hey hey hey last time you talked to me like that it didn't end well for you did it?
Luna-Fuck you
GhostFace-oh if only who wouldn't wanna fuck you the beautiful, amazing ,talented Luna.But nobody knows her do they. Nobody knows her parents couldn't try to be in her life or care less , nobody knows about how many times she's attempted suicide. Nobody knows that you're not perfect either.

Tears fall down my eyes as I plead

The phone hangs up abruptly as I sit there in shock. Was I the reason this was all happening? My head was suddenly in a flux of emotions and terror. I rush out and start my car. I speed along until I finally reach  the Meeks-Martin house.I sit there in silence hoping nobody spots me until I can finally stop shaking.I wait for about 2 minutes then knock on the door.I'm greeted by Mrs.Meeks and the smell of something sweet baking in the oven
Mrs Meeks-Oh hey Luna! You stopping by to see the twins?
I nod and she ushers me in
Mrs Meeks-They're upstairs.Oh yeah can you tell them cookies will be done in a few?
'Oh yeah sure' I say as I make my way up the stairs until a wave of tiredness washes over me.I stagger back into the railing holding my forehead in pain.What was going on with me these days.I finally compose myself and walk to chads room not even bothering to knock on the door.
Luna-Hey your mom told me to tell you that the  cookies are almost ready
Chad-You know i could've been naked
Luna-Thank god you weren't
He shakes his head and actually looks at me.But when he does his face transforms into worry.
Luna-Ok! I'm gonna leave now
Chad-Hey wait
I exit the room and make my way to Mindys ,still not bothering to knock.I dump myself on the bed and start to play with her stuffed animals
Mindy-Hi to you too
I wave and sit up still focusing in the stuffed animals
Mindy-You look...tired?
Luna-So I've heard
Mindy-No like actually are you okay?Did you get any sleep
'Of course I got sleep' I lie gingerly
'Ok sure' she says over extending the first word
Luna-Oh yeah your mom told me to tell you cookies are almost done
Mindy-Ok want me to grab some?
Luna-Uh sure I guess
Mindy gets up from her desk leaving me alone.At least I have her stuffed animals

Chad Perspective
'Hey wait I say before she shuts the door on me.I consider following her to ask her why she looked so tired but it's possible that would seriously backfire on my part. I'm on my phone in a argument with Liv when Mindy burst into my door with no warning
Mindy-Something off with Luna
Chad-Do girls know knocking is a thing
She dumps down on my bed and punches my arm
Mindy-Not funny...I'm worried about her.She looks like she hasn't slept in forever and Wes texted me.She hasn't been eating either
How the hell did I not know about this? Im her fucking best friend
Chad-You think we should ask her about it
Mindy-I don't know she's your best friend you know her better than anybody

She flips me off and leaves me to ponder my thoughts.She hasn't been eating,she looks exhausted mentally and physically and she lied about her panic attacks. Am I really that bad of a person that I can't realize when the person I love the most is going into a spiral?A 'DING' rings throughout the room and I look at my phone .

Liv-Why would you invite her to stay at your house
Liv-I'm your girlfriend and I barely even go over to your house

Shit I let myself totally forget about Liv.What am I going to do I love Liv but not in the way everyone thinks.God she's gonna hate me when this is all over.But at this point I don't even think I care anymore .I love Luna.Ever since I realized over 2 months ago I can't get into out of my head It's like a constant reminder over and over.I go to text her back when a sharp knock interrupts me
'Come in' I yell out or the person on the other side
Luna-Hey um Sam sent out a message or something for us to all meet here and everybody here's already except you and Sam so why don't you join the party Mr.Football
Chad-Give me a sec
Luna-Ok I guess
She exits the room and I quickly text Liv a "We'll talk later " text and heads downstairs where.Great she's already here eyeing me like crazy.This will be one enjoyable afternoon won't it ?
