Dallon's POV

I wake to Brendon yelling over a broken speaker and realize I'm outside.

And hungover.

"Morning Sunshine," Spencer says handing me a water.

"What time is is?"

"About one. Don't worry Bren just woke up a few minutes ago too."

I nod and close my eyes. No matter how often I say I'll never drink again, I don't think it will become true.

"Dude you were smashed last night," Brendon laughs lighting a cigarette.

"Please tell me I didn't do anything stupid."

"Well you had your tongue down Sarah's friend's throat. But I find that as an accomplishment more than something stupid," Brendon sits besides Spencer, "Dude I love the fact that you're drinking, but what's up with it? You barely even have one drink on your birthday or New Years."

"It's been a long past few days. Today will be even longer if I don't get myself some Advil though," I say. I manage to get myself up but have to pause a little before continuing to the kitchen, "Hey do either of you know where my phone is?"

Spencer walks in, "It's upstairs on the charger. I'll go get it for you."

I swallow down 4 tablets of Advil with water and pray that they do their job.

"You alright?" Spencer ask handing me my phone and gesturing to my hands gripping the counter a bit too hard.

"Huh? Yeah I'm good," I say taking my hands off the counter, "thanks."

I scroll through the notifications glancing at what app or who each one is from not honestly caring about any of it until I get to the bottom message from Merideth.

Had fun last night. Can't wait to see you again and maybe learn some more about you?

And then I remember that she agreed to going on a date with me. Should that surprise me though? The fact that I'm famous would lead anyone to say yes. So why should this be any different? Because she told you more than she wanted to...

I type back a simple of course see you tonight and hit send.

"You know I think this might be just a bit too fancy for a first date, and it's a double date. Yeah, definitely too fancy," Merideth whispers to me as we walk behind Spencer and Linda to our table.

I'll admit the chandeliers with the candles and white table cloths with silver plates and silverware with champagne glasses are overwhelmingly fancy, but it's nice. Plus Mer looks wonderful in her black dress that ends mid-thigh.

"Hello I'm Kelsey and I'll be your waiter today. What can I get everyone to drink?"

Kelsey continues to ramble on, but I can't hear it. I don't want to hear it. Spencer and Linda are looking at me, and maybe Merideth is too, but I'm looking at where Kelsey just was and now I'm standing up.

I faintly hear Spencer say something. Maybe he asked if I'm okay, but it's too late and I'm walking away. I can't be here, not with Kelsey. Not with Spencer or Linda. Not with Mer. Even if I could handle it, it's too late.

Because I'm already walking away.

Okay so that was an eh chapter on my part that took a lot longer than it should've to write.

The first half is slightly boring to be but I kind of like the second half.
The next chapter will hopefully be uploaded in a few days and it'll explain everything that happened in the end with more detail and such so yeah.

I hope you enjoyed this more or less filler chapter,
Xoxo,
S
