Indy and Rusty were setting up in the living room while Indy's Mum made sure that every detail was perfect.
Rusty had already explained to his Mum that he got Indy pregnant and she was furious but still agreed to help him.
"Oh, I think Mackenzie's here." Rusty's Mum called out from the hallway. She opened the door to let him in and Rusty and Indy peered out from behind the wall to see him climbing up the stairs. "I hope you don't mind but I brought some cupcakes for the party." He stated as he placed them down on the counter. He walked up to Indy and Rusty and seen them hanging a piñata from the ceiling. "Shouldn't this be done outdoors?" Mackenzie remarked as they struggled to hook it to the roof. "Oh yeah, I forgot piñatas were an outdoor activity, it's all been a little complicated lately." Rusty laughed as he walked straight into the door. "Ow!" He exclaimed, he had bashed his nose into the door and fell over. Mackenzie chuckled at his friend's stupidity and they all walked outside opening the door this time to hang the piñata from a tree. Rusty jumped up and wrapped the string around one of its thick branches and tied a firm not at the end.
"Hey, when is the party starting?" Jack playfully questioned his friends as he walked up to them. "Hey Jack!" The three said enthusiastically "It'll start as soon as everybody gets here, we're still waiting for Bluey and Jean-Luc." Indy responded. "We're already here though." Bluey announced as they appeared behind Jack.
Mackenzie snuck up behind her and grabbed her waist pulling her in close for a kiss.
"I KNEW BLUEY WAS GONNA MARRY MACKENZIE!" Someone yelled over the fence. It was Winton.
Bluey and Mackenzie groaned.
Despite the fact that it was true Mackenzie and Bluey never liked it being spread out. They were now going to become a rumor through the entire neighborhood no thanks to him.
"Is this what you want to see Winton?" Mackenzie yelled back. He kissed Bluey passionately on the lips as Winton watched as if they were a romance movie on TV.
"Why don't we go inside and start the party?" Rusty suggested leading the crowd inside Indy's house. "I think it's going to be a girl!" Bluey predicted. "No, it's definitely going to be a boy!" Mackenzie said boldly as they sat down on Indy's couch. Indy marked down the votes on a whiteboard after everyone had finished saying their predictions. "Okay so, we have five votes for boy and three votes for a girl." Indy cheered. "Let's see who was right!" Indy's Mum chimed in as she walked into the room with Rusty's Mum. She placed a pink and blue cake on the table and Rusty and Indy cut it open. "It's a girl!" Rusty and Indy celebrated as they held up the slice of cake for all to see. Everyone was served a slice of cake and everyone snacked on the foods everyone else had brought in. They had fun doing the piñata which Rusty confused for the tree and had accidentally knocked a few branches off and they had fun doing other games too. The fun lasted until it was time for everyone to leave at dinner time but Rusty and his Mum stayed for a little while longer to help clean up and celebrate a little bit more with Indy and her Mum. They stayed for an hour longer just to talk and Rusty's Mum had a strong cup of sweet tea that Indy's Mum had made for her. The party was a huge success and everyone left happy as they headed for home. "I still can't believe that this is actually happening!" Rusty admitted as he took down streamers from the hallway. "Well, at least we still have each other." Indy said sleepily as she took down a banner from the top of the stairs. "Yeah, I love you Indy." "I love you too Rusty."
