C.I.3: The Battle of the Mega Titan

Chapter 49. From the Ashes

The Mega Titan explodes from the inside with Georgey and Zinteren still inside. The C.I.Gang could only watch as the giant robot began to destroy itself. "What the hell is happening?!" Asked Warpaint. Suddenly, as the Power returns to it's rightful place, the Towers begin to glow brighter than they ever had. They fires at the Mega Titan one last time with their beacon. "EVERY ONE GET DOWN!" Yelled Maladar. "TAKE COVER!" Yelled Warpaint. The blast caused a much larger explosion on the outside of the Mega Titan. It begins to fall forward to the ground in a fiery blaze. The impact caused the entire Titan to obliterate. All the dark magic evaporates into the sky in a glow of red flashes and smoke. The Towers then glow dim once again after the final blow. As some of the smoke cleared, the morning sun had started to rise. Fog, smoke, and ashes polluted the Island. The Gang saw that the Mega Titan was nothing now but a pile of scrap metal. Trixi then walks over to Cyclone. "Where's Georgey?" She asked with concern. He looks over at her with doubt. She soon realized that Georgey was still inside the Mega Titan when it blew up. They all run over to the sight to see if Georgey could be recovered. At one point, Maladar found the remains of a black skull on the ground. It soon turns to dust and falls into the soil. He realized that the skull was Zinteren's. "You lose." He said quietly. The rest of the Gang, along with the remaining Couragians kept looking for Georgey in hopes that he had enough strength to survive the blast. They all called out his name in hopes of a response. Suddenly, Cyclone finds what appeared to be a hand sticking out of the rubble. He panics "Guys! Over here!" He cried desperately. He tries to remove the metal from the body. Mic, Psycho, and a few others help him out. They finally remove the debris and saw that it was indeed Georgey. They saw the damage he had suffered. Trixi almost vomited after seeing his injuries. "No!" She cried uncontrollably. "Good God Almighty." Said Mic. The Gang and everyone else saw the body and were saddened by the loss of Georgey, especially Cyclone. He walks over to him and gets on his knees next to him. He lifted his head up with his battered hands. "Brother." He said quietly. A peice of metal reveals the Gladiator underneath. Cyclone digs it up and saw that Georgey had died while holding on to it. He looks back at his dead brother. He was sad, but he also seemed proud for his little brother. "He did it." He said to the Gang. "He conquered his fear." He faces the Gang with tears raining down his face, but stayed calm. "He saved us." He continued. "He saved the Island." Maladar approaches. "He is a hero without a doubt." He said. Trixi begins to cry against Wolfe like a small child. She couldn't believe that young Georgey Dynamite was now gone. He comforts her as she sobs.
