The morning sun, oh how the morning sun was my favorite thing to feel warm me up, it was a warmth that I liked alot better through a bedroom window rather then on a wet bench. I was laying in bed slightly awake just enjoying the bed when I smelled bacon and eggs cooking, the smell of bacon was a weakness for me no matter where I was so I decided to get up and check it out, I got out of bed and made my way downstairs. I saw marina standing at the stove which startled me for a second but then it came back to me that she was going to be staying with me for the day since Sophia was gone.
"Oh morning Diana you startled me for a second." She said laughing.
"Morning, how'd you know bacon was my favorite?" I asked.
"Cause sophia told me and I could go for some bacon too." She said getting some plates ready.
"Oh that makes sence." I said trying to sit down, noticed I said trying to sit down, it was impossible to sit down like a normal person when you were 7 months pregnant.
"Oh no here let me help you sweetie." Marina said rushing over to help me sit.
"Oh no that's fine I can do it." I said still struggling.
"I said the exact same thing when I was pregnant and I ended up almost falling once so trust me when I say your gonna want the help." She said chuckling.
"Oh alright, but just this one time." I said laughing.
I hoed into my breakfast and let me tell you that shit was good, the way the salt from the bacon danced on my tastebuds made my morning zing with life, I was ready to do anything that day and part of me tells me it was just my hormones acting up again but it felt great regardless.
"So Diana I was thinking maybe we could do a girls day out kindof thing today, maybe stop at the mall get something to eat, maybe go for a drive to the beach, how's that sound?" She said cheerfully.
"That sounds pretty fun, I mean I haven't been out in a long time, I actually haven't been out just for fun ever in my life now that I think about it." I said.
"Oh you poor thing, well I'm gonna give you a good time alright." She said lighty first bumping my shoulder.
"Sounds lit." I said smiling.
I finished eating my breakfast and as I got ready I remember feeling unfiltered clean excitement and the way it filled me up with confidence and happiness made me feel so good about myself, it was almost startling how fast I've gotten used to it. I finished doing my makeup and I was ready to go.
"Wow Diana that looks incredible." Marina said admiring my makeup.
"Really? I thought it looked kinda sloppy once it was all done." I said.
"No that looks great!" Marina said starting the car.
"Why thank you then." I said excepting her compliment.
We made our way down to downtown LA where all kinds of wonders were waiting for us, marina first took me to the beach where we had a blast and where I first found my true inner peace, we both stood at the shore just silently watching the waves for the last half and I couldn't have heard a more beautiful sound, then she took me to the mall so we could go clothes shopping and grab some lunch, we grabbed lunch first though as my cravings were getting out of control.
"Wow this food court has some pretty lit shit." I said as I ate a big ass burger, that burger was the best burger I ever put in my mouth.
"Right, and they have an entire hall dedicated to just deserts." Marina said as she ate her nachos, man they smelled good.
