MR. SCHUESTER HAD MADE THE ENTIRE CLUB WAIT FROM 3:00 PM TO 5:00 PM.

It hit 4:30 PM when Luke came rushing through the door, making a couple of the members perk up from seeing another student.

"Uh, sorry that I'm late." Luke breathed. "I'm here to audition. If it's not too late."

"You're just in time. The stage is yours." Mr. Schue smiled, and everyone watched as Luke grabbed an acoustic guitar.

He glanced over to Ivory, who had a full smile planted on her face, making the nerves inside him calm down.

The club erupted into claps, making Luke look around. This is definitely where he wanted to be. Especially since Ivory was there, cheering the loudest.

"Welcome to the glee club, Luke." Mr. Schue announced.

For the last half hour, the group sat around the room, bored.

Both Finn and Rachel had potential members, but both had not shown up.

IT WAS 4:58 PM, AND STILL, NO ONE ELSE SHOWED UP.

Everyone was already packed up to go home, they were just waiting for the clock to strike 5:00.

Luke and Ivory were in their little world playing tic-tac-toe, while everyone waited patiently by the piano.

"Well, hate to break it to you, but it doesn't look like anyone else is gonna be joining us." Rachel quickly stood from her chair. "So I think we should just call it a day. Congratulations Luke for getting in." She tried to walk out of the room.

"We said 3:00 to 5:00. It's only 4:58." Mr. Schue tried, but everyone started to leave the room.

"Just wait, my buddy Sam's gonna try out. He idolizes me." Finn smiled, watching as Luke pulled Ivory up from the floor.

The two walked out of the choir room, and slowly made their way through the halls.

"What happened with you and Kiara? The two of you have been avoiding each other the entire week." Luke asked, noticing the shift in body language from the girl next to him.

"We broke up. She didn't want to be with me, and she was figuring herself out." She answered. "Can't be mad at her. Just kind of upset that she didn't talk to me."

Luke's heart pounded in his chest. He hated to see his best friend down like that. But inside, he hated that he had a happy feeling knowing she wasn't seeing anyone.

"You doing alright?" Luke asked, contemplating whether or not to wrap his arm around her.

"Yeah, I think so. It's not like I was totally in love with her or anything, so I'm not gonna cry over it." Ivory answered.

One thing to know about Ivory; she barely cries. She doesn't know how to handle her emotions, so she keeps them bottled up inside to eat away at her mental health.

When she was younger, she was better at showing them, until her mother continuously complained about her daughter and her emotions.

The only emotion she knows how to show other than happiness, was anger. Ivory had massive anger issues depending on the situation she was in.

But of course, Luke was always there to help calm her down.

He would always be there for her.

No matter what.
