THE HAVENS FAMILY AND IVORY ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL, AND WENT TO CHECK IN.
"I was able to convince them to let us get our own room." Luke muttered to her, making her smile.
Luke and Ivory made it to their room, and they got settled in.
"So, tonight we have dinner at 6:30, so we're free until then." Luke smiled, watching Ivory untie her shoes.
"Alright, what did you have in mind until then?" She asked, flopping down on her bed.
"Since you look pretty comfortable laying there, we can just hang out in here if you want."

6:30 HAD SHOWN UP FAST, AND THE TWO WERE GETTING READY.
Luke was in the bathroom while Ivory was sitting on the edge of her bed tying her shoes.
"Hey, your phone went off!" She yelled to Luke through the bathroom door as his phone dinged twice.
"Can you see who it is? It's probably my mom asking if we're coming down." Luke said.
She picked up the phone and opened the messages to see a group chat between him, Alex, and Reggie.

Alex
Dude, this is the perfect time to tell her your feelings.
Reggie
Exactly, I mean, you guys are sharing a hotel for God's sake.
Luke
I know. I'm gonna do it soon. Probably after dinner tonight or something.
Reggie
Oh, that's perfect.
Alex
Let us know how she feels! We're rooting for you, man.

Ivory looked over the messages that were sent before she quickly sent a message posing as Luke.

Luke
She feels the same.
Reggie
That's awesome, man!
Alex
You finally told her! Thank God.

Ivory put the phone back down when Luke walked out of the bathroom. But before so, she deleted the last three messages from the conversation.
"Who was it?" He asked.
"Oh, it was just a notification from an app of yours." She lied.
"We should get downstairs."
The two walked to the elevator, and as they waited, Ivory slipped her hand into his and intertwined their fingers together.
Luke hid the small amount of blush that appeared on his face and pulled her into the elevator.

AS EVERYONE WAS SITTING AROUND the long table chatting, the waiters started to bring the food out.
Luke watched as Ivory kept her head down, staring at her fingers.
