"SO UH, HER AND KIARA APPROACHED ME THE OTHER DAY." Luke started after gathering his thoughts.

"Oh God, what did they do?" Ivory asked, watching his body language change in seconds. She could tell that he was either uncomfortable or that he didn't want to tell her. "You don't have to tell me, you know. I'm not gonna force you."

"Really?" He asked, relasing a breath of air he didn't know he was holding.

"That's your business. Not mine." She said, nudging his shoulder.

"I did want to ask you something." He started, "My grandmother is having this party for my aunt, and my aunt wants me to bring a date."

"Oh! Maybe you can bring Kelsi." Ivory joked, making Luke look at her. "I'm joking."

"I wanted to know if you wanted to be my date to this thing." Luke went to put his hands in his pockets when Ivory quickly grabbed them. "And it's this overnight thing since it's gonna be out of state, so they're renting out hotel rooms and everything."

"Yeah, I would love to. Just let me know what I have to wear." She smiled, pulling him close to where their bodies were almost touching.

Luke glanced between her eyes and lips before catching her eye contact she made.

"You just really like staring at me, don't you?" She teased, watching his face turn a bright pink real quick. "Don't worry. It's cute." She said before pulling away from him.

Luke watched as she walked inside before he walked home with a smile on his face.

"ALRIGHT, LET'S GATHER ROUND." Mr. Schue walked into the classroom. "Sorry I'm late, guys. I was with Principal Figgins. Bad news, Puckerman's in juvie."

"It really was just a matter of time." Tina spoke out.

"What did he do?" Quinn asked.

"He drove his mom's Volvo through the front of a convenience store and drove off with the ATM." Mr. Schue said, and Ivory crossed her arms over her chest as the rest of the club laughed.

Puck's mother had called her over the weekend and told her the entire story, so this wasn't new news to her.

"And when is he getting out?" Rachel asked, having the urge to turn around to look at Ivory and Luke for an answer.

"Unknown."

"He might be the dumbest person, and that's coming from me." Brittany laughed.

"Guys. Let's have some sympathy." Mr. Schue looked around.

"For a guy who put his needs before the teams? We need his voice and his bad-boy stage presence." Finn argued.

"We can't look at this as a crisis. It's an opportunity." Mr. Schue started.

"For what? Further embarrassment and humiliation?" Quinn guessed.

"For welcoming our new member, Sam Evans." Mr. Schue announced, and Sam jogged through the open door.

"Hey, everybody. I'm Sam. Sam, I am. And I don't like green eggs and ham." Sam joked.

The entire club stayed silent, but she shared a look with Kurt and Luke.

"Wow, he has no game," Santana spoke, turning to Brittany.

"Okay. This is gonna be great. You're not gonna regret joining, Sam." Finn stood next to him.

"Oh, good," Sam muttered in the awkward silence. Finn pointed to the empty chair next to his, and Sam sat down.

"Now. Question for the group. What's a duet?" Mr. Schue asked.
