"NO FRICKIN' WAY!" KAROFSKY DENIED.
"We don't have a choice. Sue pulled the Cheerios from the game, so if we don't do it, there's no halftime show." Mr. Schue explained.
"And this is a problem because?" Lauren asked.
"It's not a problem. It's an opportunity." Coach Beiste tried.
"Opportunity to humiliate ourselves."
"Hey! The whole point of this week was to bring you guys together, to bring the school together." Coach Beiste explained.
"Wait, so you want us to play the first half, change into some sequeen ball gowns, and then go out and do the halftime show at our own championship game?" Azimio questioned.
"Hey, man. If you wanna wear a sequeened dress for the show, just say it. Everyone else would be in the correct costume for it, so you would look like an idiot." Ivory laughed, making Mr. Schue sent her a look of disapproval.
"Yes." Coach Beiste nodded, ignoring Ivory's statement.
"It's the championship game! This is a crazy town. Crazy." Azimio argued.
"What about the Cheerios in Glee Club?" Finn changed the subject.
"They have a choice. Us, or the Cheerios competition." Mr. Schue explained.
"Well, obviously, Quinn is gonna choose Cheerios. I mean..." Rachel shook her head.
"Well, that's not fair. You don't know what she's gonna do." Finn stood up for her.
"I think the cheerleading competition is gonna be a lot of fun, but if you go, you're gonna miss out on us doing the most iconic song of all time. The Superbowl of Pop Anthems, Thriller." Mr. Schue announced.
Hearing that made Ivory disappointed. Since it was still too early for her to go back to performing, she would have to sit out of the performance and rehearsals.
"Remember a few years ago when that Philippine prison did that mega performance of Thriller and put it on YouTube? Now, in the four months, it took them to rehearse that number, prisoner on prisoner crime dropped 80%. Doing that, together as a team, created a unity within that prison. And that's what I'm looking to do here." Mr. Schue explained.
"I mean, don't get me wrong, you know, I'm big on Michael and everything, but isn't that kind of what they're expecting us to do?" Mercedes questioned.
"Which is why we're gonna mash it together with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs equally spooky single, Heads Will Roll." Mr. Schue announced.
"Who's Yeah Yeah Yeah?"
"Alright, New Directions, Titans, we're going to zombie camp." Coach Beiste blew her whistle.
"Ivory, can we talk to you real quick?" Mr. Schue pulled her to the side away from the rest of the group.
"Yeah, sure." She sighed.
"We know that due to what happened at your game the other day, you aren't able to perform." Mr. Schue started, making her nod. "And I appreciate you still showing up for rehearsal, which is why I want to offer you something."
"Oh, Mr. Schue, I don't need anything in return." She started to deny.
"Just listen. Since you can't be in the performance, it doesn't mean you can't help guide them in the right direction."
"Are you asking me to train them in zombie camp?" Ivory asked.
"That's exactly what I want. You'll be directing them, helping them get loose. The basics, alongside Coach Beiste and I." Mr. Schue offered.
