" as my eyes laid upon you, i could feel my heartbeat running again "
They had finally arrived at the camp after hours of driving.
The teenagers made their way to the main office, where they usually hold their meetings, before letting the girls in. They still need to get permission from their leader, Hui. The boys prepared their speech beforehand, working hard to convince Hui to let the girls stay there.
Once they had arrived in front of the main office, Hanbin knocked on the door until a voice told them to come in. They looked at each other and started walking inside the room, feeling a bit nervous.
"Who are these girls..and young boy?" Hui asked them.
"I'm Eunji, nice to meet you." Eunji spoke in a polite manner, putting her right hand up for a handshake which Hui gladly took.
"These two are my company. This is my younger brother, Dani and the other one is my close friend, Ari" Eunji explained. Ari and Hyeri gave Hui a small smile, showing their respect to him.
"I'm Lee Hoetaek (29), the leader of this tribe. You can just call me Hui." The older guy introduced himself.
Sung Hanbin faked cough.
He took a deep breath and explained everything to Hui.
"Hyung, we found these people earlier and we brought them back here. I assume bringing them here would be the right decision. If it's alright with you, can you please let them stay here? It's for their safety." The raven-head finished with an awkward smile, trying to get his leader to say yes.
"Hm..." Hui paused. His face scrunched up in deep thought.
"Look, they can't stay here" Hui told them, biting his lower lip to stop himself from laughing.
The boys were shocked, making their faces go white. It was unusual for Hui not to let someone stay here, he would usually say yes even without proper convincing.
Hanbin gave Eunji an apologetic look. "I'm- We're sorry, we really thought-"
Hui burst into laughter and clenched his stomach, making everyone turn their head at him. The youngsters just looked at him with a concerned look, not knowing what to say or how to respond.
"Please, I was just joking" Hui said while wiping the tears from the corner of his eyes.
"You guys looked so serious back then, it made me want to tease you, sorry for that"
The leader got serious now. "Of course, the girls can stay here. Bring the girls to Sua and tell her to show them around." They all sighed in relief.
"Hyung! You scared me for real!" Junhyeon cried dramatically.
"That was seriously not funny" Hanbin spoke and crossed his arms.
"I'm sorry, for real this time. You guys can go now, don't forget to introduce them to everyone" Hui waved his hands at them, showing them his sincere smile.

"Hey, Sua!" Sung Hanbin brought them to an unfamiliar girl. She was really pretty, with short wavy black hair and a tall figure.
"Hey Hanbin! Oh? Who are they?" Her eyes fell on the females standing behind hanbin.
"Meet our new members, Eunji, Ari and Dani! They'll be staying with us from now on. Also, Hui asked you to show them around the place. I gotta go now, see you guys later!"
"Okay guys" Sua clapped her hands once.
"Im Yoon Sua, the medic here, feel free to call me Sua. It's nice to meet you guys!" Sua greeted them with a friendly smile and shook their hands.
"It's nice to finally get new female members. Before you guys came here, there were only three females here; me, Nari and Sunmi. You guys will meet them later" Sua grinned sheepishly.
"Anyway, let's go now. I'm going to show you guys to the cafeteria first"
The friendly girl's antic surprised them a bit, but it felt good to meet someone like her. Eunji was sure that they'll be good friends in no time.
After walking for some time, they had finally arrived at the so-called cafeteria. The place was big and crowded with a lot of people, indicating it was time for dinner.
As they walked into the cafeteria, they felt gazes upon them. The people there were probably wondering who they are. It wasn't anything uncommon to receive new members, but still, the people were curious.
Sua spotted a group of guys she recognized and walked happily towards them.
"Hey everyone, how is it going? Meet our new members, Eunji, Dani and Ari! Please make them feel welcomed here" Sua told the guys, reminding them not to scare the newcomers.
"Guys, feel free to sit here! I'll go get you guys some food" Sua lightly tapped Eunji's back. It was awkward, but they slowly made their way to the unoccupied seats.
"I didn't know we would get new members so soon. Anyway, I'm Keita (19), good to see you!"
"The name's Park Gunwook (18). Just call me Gunwook or anything you'd please" The younger guy spoke, his eyes focused on his food.
"I'm Jay (20)! The awkward guy beside me is my good bro, Kamden (20)" Jay introduced himself and shook Kamden's shoulder, making him alert of the girls present in front of them.
"Oh, hey." That's the only word that came out of Kamden's mouth, which Ari replied with a small wave.
Keita nudged the busy guy beside him on his shoulder. Focusing on the food in front of him, he showed no interest on the newcomers.
"What..." The guy replied in an annoyed tone. He didn't like it when anyone interrupt his so-called eating time.
"Introduce yourself, it'll be quick" Keita whispered to the guy, making him slightly roll his eyes.
"Jeonghyeon. Lee Jeonghyeon" He spoke coldly without looking at their eyes, and continued munching on his food.
'Welp, that guy is definitely on my person-to-avoid list' Eunji thought. She had always hated guys like this, they're the type that always do or say something that gets on her nerves. She made a mental note to avoid any interaction with Jeonghyeon.
Sua came back with the food, not too long after they finished their introduction. They quietly ate their foods and followed Sua to their dorms, where they will be staying for a long time.
Fortunately for them, their dorm is right beside Sua's room, which made it easier for them to find her when they need help with anything.
"Goodnight guys! Don't wake up too late, breakfast will be served around 8 in the morning" Sua reminded them and waved her goodbye.
The room they were assigned in wasn't too bad. It had a bunk bed and a single bed, with a small desk in the middle separating the two beds. Dani and Eunji took the bunk beds, while Ari took the other one. The night ends with them sleeping soundly, finally getting the rest that they lacked from their sleepless nights.
