The Healing Center

Everything turned into chaos. The NNS had come from nowhere with about two times the amount of people we had brought. Someone lunged for me but I dodged out of the way. I had finally learned how to focus all my energy into certain people to use my inflicting, it is very dangerous but I had to do it. I mustered up all my energy and focused on all the NNS members, after I saw them all hit the ground my vision went dark as I hit the floor with a thud. The last thing I saw was Keefe's terrified face as I could see him mouthing my name.

I awoke in the healing center, my head, and knee throbbing. I slowly turned my head to see Keefe asleep on the chair right next to me clutching my hand.
"Keefe."
I whispered. He jolted awake.
"Oh, hey Foster. You almost died for the millionth time."
I laughed. I looked outside to see it was probably around midnight. Elwin came rushing in at the sound of my voice, he came in wearing gulon pajamas.
"Glad to see your awake Sophie, we thought we almost lost you for a minute there."
"What happened after I fainted?"
I asked directing my attention to Keefe.
"Well, after you used your inflicting all of the NNS members were down so it made the black swans job very easy. They got me out, then I carried you while we looked for the bodyguards. We had to leave everyone except Sandor because the serum didn't work on him but the other bodyguards were basically like robots. After that we light leaped here."

After Keefe finished his story Elwin came up to me and flashed blue colored orbs over my head.
"Looking good but I know that headache is painful. I'll have you stay until tomorrow night so get comfortable. Also, here is a serum for the pain."
He said as he handed me a glass vial filled with violet liquid that smelled like lavender.
I chugged it and almost immediately the pain subsided.
"Wait, where's Sandor?"
I asked hoping I would be able to see the big guy.
"Forkle took him his secret lab to run tests on him to see if he can find any traces of the mysterious serum, and to see why it didn't work on him."
I contemplated the situation for a second. Why didn't it work on him?
"Anyways, you could probably go and see him after all the tests are done. For now, just rest."
I had many more questions but I put them aside and fell back to sleep.

When I woke up the bright sun shone in my eyes. I looked around to see no one except for me in the room. Just then I heard the bell ring, Foxfire is in session. I thought to myself.
"Sophie, how do you feel?"
Elwin came in and asked. I tried to sit up but my head went dizzy.
"Dizzy, and weak."
I replied.
"Sounds like with some rest you'll be able to return home by tonight."
I nodded then he walked out of the room. It was nice to have some peace and quiet, I drifted into sleep but right before I went into full sleep mode a loud sound woke me. I abruptly awoke. I looked to see Keefe.
"Foster! We have to go! Sandor has gone haywire!"
